Well i got the server inspection problem, i did anything to get out of it but it doesn't work .

I think the only option is to download a newer version then the offical client is.

Any1 can upload it for me? Please? Im beggin you.

download the game from the official site then download the patch and i can't upload a 1.30GB game and i only have the 1.97 version sry

Have u looked in TECH CENTER PART HER IN SRF?

maybe u need the VGA update?

Well i got the same problems as there is on most of players with Firewall. But they explain for windows, to put a stupid url in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

I did that, didn´t work.

Tried to install it over and over. Didn´t work..

Tried to reopen it over and over. DIdn´t work..

Tried to open it in safe mode, didn´t work.

maybe ur anti virus is blocking it some anit viruses do that

if u got windows firewall, shut that down too..

configuration screen -> windows firewall -> firewall off.

i always have firewalls/virusscans off or not installed. format every 2
month. works great

Well i cleaned my computer from mcafee, i putted the windows off and my music virus detector to. Still it isn't working :|

since the new patch -_-

is it your gameguard or your launcher thats bothering you? and have you
maybe tried to install other versions of sro? or pk2 edit? pff hard question
this early in the morning >_< lets hope somebody knows.

It just launch the version it and says Blablalb server inspection visit http://www.silkroadonline.net for more information.

I didn't do anything wrong, well they said something of that pk2 right first when it didn't work then i installed it again and it says this .

But i didn't know i did any edits :o

Edit: Pretty strange that it is morning at your side of netherlands cause it's 20.25 here

Heres an easy way to fix the server inspection problem
that many of you are having.

#1 - Click Start - Run, Then enter the directory just as shown in the image below.



#2 - Right click the file named hosts and there should be two options.
Select the one as shown in the image below.



#3 - Select notepad from the list then enter 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com as it is shown in the image below.





And the end result you can play again

aaaaaaa, GM, i know finally how how to fix it. Its a routers firewall problem. The only thing u need to do is forwarding port 15779.

i know most has been posted already, like in the tech forum here, but
this one had nice pictures with it and i didnt want to get the feeling i was
searching for nothing -_-

Those are the one i remember i liked the most, f2p btw Cabal will become f2p again but it's only for Europe (though that doesn't affect you hehe) but you can play the japanese version too, which is f2p already and you only need to install the language pack in windows...

Still isn't working, download Csro version now. Probably wont work either..
