pk2 editing questions

Hey, I have been reading up on pk2 edits and just had a few questions:

Do you need to have a certain type of item in order to edit it?

Does it physically change the weapon in game and allow you to use it with the new weapons stats if it is a higher degree?

If say you are only level 20 and get an eighth degree weapon, can you equip it?

Do other people see it if it is armor of weapon editing?

And if say you have only a second degree weapon, can you make a 7th degree weapon out of it, or how does that work?

No The Effects are only Visual Your weapon it will not effect its attack power in anyway

If say you are only level 20 and get an eighth degree weapon, can you equip it?
Your 16 Weapon will look like an 8th Degree weapon but will still be a 3rd degree weapon to other players

Do other people see it if it is armor of weapon editing?
The Effects are only seen your side so other people will see you in ur 3rd degree amour

And if say you have only a second degree weapon, can you make a 7th degree weapon out of it, or how does that work?
Yes you can make a 2nd Degree weapon look like a 7th Degree But it will still be your normal weapon there will be no phyiscal change to the Weapon only its Visual Effects

well to answer some of the question what u edited only you can see on your comp, everyone else c what there suppose to. As for making a 2nd degree wep into a 7D you can make it look like it but no it would be a 7D wep. Also the 8D thing can't do it. Basically pk2. editing is just looks it can't help you in any other way.

i tried everything on the guide and wen i saved it and opened the game my character was exactly the same, i changed the words on my spear once but that was it pretty much, now wen i enter something to replace, it juss says that 0 occurences were changed, any advice?
