When thieves steal goods, or kill merchants, transports, and hunters, thief penalty point TPP(Thief Penalty Point) is accumulated. When TPP goes over 3000, a thief turns into wanted status.
A wanted icon appears next to the character ID when a thief turns into wanted status, and even when job is not activated thieves can be killed by hunters. When TPP is over 3000, players cannot become hunters or merchants.

how i know that my TPP is over 3000 ?

Press 'C' or push the 'Character' button in the user interface window.

At the bottom you'll see arrange points. Also if you go over 3000 you will get a notice

is 3000 mean i am a lvl3 thief?

No of course not. The progress bar of your Thief/Hunter/Trader level is right above your Arrange Points.

Press C and this will pop up:



If that # in the red circle goes over 3000 your wanted

You get wanted points by killing hunters and traders. Also, when you sell

your stolen goods you lose trader exp and gain thief exp, and when you

kill hunters you lose hunter exp and gain theif exp. The only way to get rid

of your wanted status is to wait till your arrange points are gone or let a

hunter kill you and pay the penalty. After your wanted goes away there is

usually a time penalty you must wait before you can job. The max penalty

is 3 hours

They really really should higher the arrange points you need for wanted =|

Suppposed i got 3001 arrange point so im wanted.

Then i got killed by a hunter and i got penalty.

So i pay the fine and wait for the time penalty to finish.

Question

So while i wait for the time penalty to finish, am i still a wanted? Cause i want to go grind in peace without fearing hunter killing me while i wait for the time penalty to finish.

No, if u have paid and put your thief suit off, then u wil be fine

how much is it like 10k ?

The minimum that Ive paid was near 100k, but thats depends on how many arrange point you have. The guild master of my guild had to paid near 1M once and that sucks . I think that this values should be changed because the first time I was happy because I was "Wanted", now you can easily become wanted on every job war at DW doors and wait a lot of time to arrange go down or let some hunter kill you and pay the penalty if you want to continue grinding.


At least Joymax should do something similar to that with hunters, so you get extra thief xp if you kill a famous hunter .

pfft thats a cowards way out. i get wanted at least 3 times a day when i job ( and no i dont kill low lvl hunters/traders)

well i am not rich and i don't even have a wolf yet

Another question then, if you have 2500 or whatever points, how long will it take (not jobbing) for those to go to 0?

wrong, lol. i just managed to get 12k+ AP, and my penalty was something about 80 hours, weird.

btw, you loose 1 AP each minute.
