More interesting details about the update

okay first, Joymax has on their website that when it comes to the pigs, "Their cuteness is unbelievable =)" and that's a direct copy and paste quote with the smiley face and everything. I don't think they look that cute :P
Image

Okay, 2 more interesting notes. One is that it says the premium ticket gives you "[Special Bonus] Preferred game access" That is veeery unspecific so I'll break it down. One way to do it is to take your request over someone else's when you're typing the image verification since hundreds of people do it within one second. That's a very small advantage and you still won't be able to get on easily at all. The other way, and this is gonna piss off the poor ppl like me, is to boot someone else off the server so a premium person can get on. The server doesn't currently not let people on because it thinks it's funny, it does it cuz there's a limit of how many ppl can get on. It can't just say "Oh, he's a premium ticket user, let's make it 5001" and let them on anyway cuz let's say 500 people get a premium ticket and all try to get on. The server would crash with 5500. So they have to boot 500 people off in that case. Prepare to buy a ticket or get disconnected constantly if that's the case.

Also, in the details about the ticket, it says:
Alchemy Success Rate Increase
There will be an increase of success rate when trying the alchemy by Intensifying Elixir (equipment) and various alchemy items. Lucky Powder and Lucky Magic characteristic are accumulatively applied.
Accumulatively is the magic word because series odds are just about useless. If you apply a 5% three times in series, I forgot how to calculate it precisely but it's like a 7% advantage total instead of a 15% like it would be accumulatively. So I guess it's not as useless as I thought. Still, don't think you're going to magically get +8 or something cuz that's still never gonna happen even if it was a 50% odds increase.

Oh and I suppose I'll throw this one in. For the SP quest U can do with the premiem ticket 3 times in the 4 weeks, here's the rewards:

Quest Rewards
1. 100 Quest Items = 300 SP
2. 200 Quest Items = 700 SP
3. 300 Quest Items = 1200 SP
4. 400 Quest Items = 1600 SP
5. 500 Quest Items = 2500 SP

Now keep in mind, you can only hunt the monsters for 3 hours. The quest may or may not go until the next day but either way, you're gonna have to scramble! Buuuuut you know how farmers usually try to get SP without leveling? Well now they don't have to! I could go kill those giant stone guys outside DW about 5 at a time because they're the lowest level monster that still gives me drops. I'd have 500 quest items in no time if they drop as often as those heart thingies that lower skills.
So 7500 SP if someone does that 3 times. In a couple months, people would have so much SP it's sick. In other words, if you're not farmed, your character is useless now and you should buy a premiem ticket or quit the game. Yaaay Joymax.

umm you can only do the sp quest 3 times for the whole duration of the premium ticket.

Acquirement of Skill Points(SP) Quest
There will be a special quest given only when using the premium item.
Quest can be executed on Gold Time Service(3 hours per day), can be repeated 3 times in 4 weeks.

so thats like 7500 sp max in 4 weeks
its nice but not a lot if youre planning to farm hardcore

I have a supposition for this one. Maybe the premium ticket make a reserve of slot for user who bought it. It's like reserving, booking a room in a hotel.

I suppose that's possible but what if 5000 people on a given server get a premium ticket? :P Then there's 5000 reserved spots and you have to have one to get on lol. Plus, if it was like 2500 people, and only 300 of them were on, that's 2200 wasted, empty spots on the server :(

So, basing my conclusion on what Nuclear and desolator said:

If the server holds 5000 slots, and 500 people buy tickets, thats 4500 slots open for people to get in.
Botters probally take up up another 500 slots
4000 open slots for non-ticket buyers.
Stallers take another 500 slots.
3500 open sots to grinders.

Note: We play International Silkroad Online.

So, 3500 slots for a much larger amount of people who want to play.

Quick question for people who buy silk: If you buy it for one server, can you use it on another? I mean not like buying a gold ticket, but like 500 silk.

Yes.

Silk is stored on the account, not on the character within the account.

Well thats great, now lets say if Premium tickets exchange across because you can't buy a ticket for one char on one server.

So if its like a hotel system where Premium tickets hold slots for you, servers aren't open anymore, its now P2P.

With a GT I was able to make 10K sp in 24 hour period (Level 52 Pure int one shotting peons ;) ).

what's a GT? :? U drove around a Pontiac Grand Am GT and ran over monsters with it or what? I spose that'd go fast too.
EDIT: ohhhhh gold ticket. Yeah....those last 3 hours a day, not 24 so I think you're lying.
