With the job update planned each job should have unique benefits but as of now, its just for status.

RESPECT from your fellow Merchant, Hunter, Thief ( whatever job you do best )

The Points you gain as Trader will allow you to carry more and more stuff with the same difficulty(# of stars).
You will get newer transports which also allow you to do the same as you Lvl up, but growing as trader i.e will let you do that with the same transport.

Like you can carry 30k on lvl 45 and be 1 star.
Once you reach a higher trader lvl you can carry a bit more then 30k and still run as 1 star.

I dont think thats implemented.

Ive done a lot of trades in my time (10% expert trader) and the only thing that increases the amount you can hold is leveling your character up (you can carry a few more goods per level) & a new transport (but this is somewhat related to level because you have to level to get the new transports)

dno lol, just fink ur probs rated more by other players.. especially if ur expert..

Well you can check it, lol. Its gonna be a while before i will be able to gain a trader level again (lvl4 > lvl5 will take ages). I just simply shared my experience from hundreds and hundreds of trades, and trader level didnt mean squat.
