Well seems everyone has been having problems even getting the Start button on their Silkroad Online Client to load and I think it's cause of one of the functions of the just added Premium Tickets.

Just look at all the features of this sucker including being able to login regardless of server traffic:

Change screen res to about 1024x768 to view properly:




So if you don't own one a these and get d/c for no reason, you should be able to guess why.

yeah, everyone is saying that this is gonna ruin the game, and until now i thought that they might be wrong. But i do see the bad part of getting disconnected just because you don't have one of these tickets. I wish that these tickets did everything except for the reserve one spot for you thing, then it would be good for the game.

what surprises me is that i saw on the official forums how MD mentioned "1st-try-log" will prolly be made available to people with GT's & monkey because they have "paid" to use them...makes sense..

but then...instead of introducing this idea on the GT or monkey...they decide to release a new item with those features...and the old GT doesn't have this feature...

edit: Also they didn't give much information on how it works...the server has a limit for the number of people it can handle. Do the prem users break that limit and go over it..thus creating lag like seen in the old days? or some poor random person get kicked?

I'm also wondering wat " premi quest - addional skill points can be obtained" means...

Yeah, and what happens when every non-legit in the server gets one of these tickets? Not good for the game at all. I agree, get rid of the "save my spot on the server" feature.

$20 man to log in every time.

Pay less for.... err... other games. And log in every try. I dont have to pay more than other users to log in.

Plus customer service... being able to fill out a GM ticket

Not to poke fun, but seriously. $20 is asking a lot when you compare the two.

Considering customer support / service / GM's in silkroad, that premium ticket should be like 10$.

But anyway.

+ 1 it may be worth it if there was some drastic change in sro and customer service was increased 1000000%.

agree, should be cheaper. 20 is very steep.

I refuse to pay money so I can be around bot / hack / scam / nogm / globalchat / disconnectedfromserver

Let alone additional money.

lets make leveling absolutely miserable, so people pay to make it easier.

Sigh.

i think i have about 210 silk left and 5-6 days left on my gt, im getting one of these as soon as i get on i <3 silkroad again.

if it seriously disconnects a non paying member....we will see how long im gonna play this dumb game after this.

Well ye, luckly its not obligation to buy it. Just an option for all the whining ppl in the game. Still it look like even more ppl complaine now when they got an option to buy a auto login thingy.

What does it take for ppl to stop complaine? Guess nothing, go make ur own game or just quit the game. Nothing seams to be good anyway so why play?

the new premium card is ok.. but its way too expensive.. it should be 150 silk max
if I were joymax I would wait a month until everyone's gold ticket is over and then implent this new premium card or just swap normal gold tickets for this one and I would try to improve alot.. guess it's not that easy

edit: + i think its unfair for people with monkey/squirl and ticket and other things because it will be even harder for them to use it.. silkroad is a great game but the gm's and those leaders are ruining it a bit for us

20 USD for a premium tick? OMG that's a little steep.

Preferred access - just makes me wonder, because what if EVERYONE has preferred access...in effect it's going to be the same situation as now b/c they've done nothing to fix the crowded server issue, except guarantee that a select group of people will always be able to log in, regardless of the status of the server. I'm certain that can't be any better for the lag situation.

What about the 'normal' players? If they make it impossible for free players to connect b/c of this preferred access, the game's going to die.

What about the current gt/st/pet users? They pay for extras as well, are they not going to get 'preferred access?' They had dam well better, because the normal gt & silk users may opt out of the super ticket for getting more extras, such as normal GT, pet clock & globals (which comes to 188 silk or $18.80 USD). Last time I checked, my money is just as green as the premium tick users.

Ack. Who knows. Just hope it doesn't hurt the game any more than the other issues have already (***, hack, scam, ccf, d/c, ????? error)
