Topic title and there still isn't any compensation event NOR huge bot ban list.

their idea of banning was this

kill the servers:
This will stop bots being able to logon
Side effects:
Nobody can logon

Their excuse will be "Sorry, we have been experiencing server problems. The event and ban list will be delayed another month."

Some people pay for this game. I know no one is forcing them to buy silk, but it's unethical for Joymax to continue running the game with item mall while letting players buy Gold time without warning of bad service, a bot problem, server crowdedness, etc.
People who buy silk have every right to complain IMO.

example:you go get a car wash you come out and it looks like crap
you never go back again.

I know, that is why I stopped buying silk. But there are tons of people that don't think about that.

You complain to inform the management that their product is losing customers. Feedback is usually wanted to know where to make changes. For example, you get bad service at a restaurant, you complain to the manager so they know that waiter sucks and they will "fix" it. Companies normally appreciate that kind of thing.

So the question is, do you want us to not complain because you know JM will never do anything about it, and thus is a waste of time to complain, or should we complain and get things fixed in this game?

Honestly I gave up, JM isn't going to fix the game for us. They have known for a long time about several problems in the game, from translation to time to grind to job system flaws to bots, they have issued patches to fix several of these things in kSRO over a year ago, but they will not ever do that for us here. We just get "coming soon!" Yeah. I got sick of waiting and took my money elsewhere. Yes, I paid money to this game, and I regret it now. I feel suckered and I won't do it again.

Instead I took the money I had been paying JM and went to another game. In that game I encountered a problem which appeared to be a glitch, I filed a support ticket and within 30 minutes I was contacted by a GM and the problem fixed. THAT is what I want to pay for. In real games where the company actually puts some work into it, gold sellers have to resort to PM's to hawk their wares instead of GLOBALLY ANNOUNCING it. In iSRO the same user that globalled one site in particular has been doing so for over 4 months now without being banned. Another gold seller has been sitting in Hotan on a script to flood the general chat with ads for two months now, with the SAME user. JM should be ashamed for ever taking people's money while doing nothing for it.

I read a small thread on the main forums where MD ties in updates with player abuse....more abusive the players, longer it takes for an update.

MD says a lot of things on that forum that is total crap, too. For one, development updates are done by a completely different team than who handle player issues. Although, both cases are moot, because there is no team doing development NOR is there anyone handling player abuses.

Normal game:
1. Developers (handles bug fixes and improvements)
2. Customer support team (handles player abuses)
3. Administrators (handles banning of accounts from number 2)
4. Managers coordinating

iSRO:
1. Forum moderator (says its all gonna be alright)
2. Overseas management who cannot be easily contacted directly.
