WTF

Okaay so ten minutes ago i'm ingame and get a windows firewall message trying to block sro_client.exe. I accidentally unblocked it
.
Now without saying anything I get a PM from a friend saying he read on a bot forum that the servers were hacked and 300+ accounts have been hacked so far.
Never had this firewall message before, bit of a co-incedence isn't it
wtf have I unblocked

Hacking?
Hmm...has it been 10 days? Although I highly doubt they really did hack the servers.
Anyway, there's nothing wrong with allowing SRO through your firewall.

Bit weird how I got the warning when i'd been already connected for an hour.

what do you think of that?
This extract is taken from an inofficial newsboard of the Silkroad employee:
"[...]Due to the fact, that we received several mails from a group named "SilkroadHackTeam", we closed the Silkroad Login-System for indifinate time. We already lost servers and don't want to get further user information leaked to these hacking-group.
Furthermore, we aren't able to close the servers. A resque-team is already on its way to the server station to close them manually.[...]"
I found it on a german
forum and i'm really not sure whether it could be true, but IMO it could be one explanation for the actual trouble today.
