Just curious what would convince you to eventually quit the game....

Yes I know it's quite a list .. might even forgotten a few actually but ye.
Reasons I put these are well for lack of updates at 70 cap a lot of people I knew quit and left the game simply because joymax kept delaying the 80 cap. The bad lag / login problem has prompted also a lot of people to quit because sro got for them unplayable.

Bots not getting banned as in Joey's thread is the number one game leave I should think but still curious ... also like many people I know their bot getting banned made them quit too ~_~.

Friends starting to quit ... hell if the people I know started to quit I'd be gone no questions asked, all tho most would adjust and find new people ... you never know.

Also the Finding sosun weapon or getting fully farmed is also a quitting milestone. A lot of people in game tell me as soon as they find a sun 64 wep they would have fun with it for a week or 2 but then retire till something new happens. Same as for getting to 80 fully farmed, all tho most in that case bot to get their sun wep lol ....

Others are self explanatory .. anyways I voted random quitting impulse, cause I'm like that >.<

I did lv 1-40 AGAIN on Xian (most crowded server you can imagine) not playing a grindfest but a KS fest, there are so many goldfarmers you can't imagine, I also went pure int which totally annoyed the ..... out of me, 1277 hp ROFL, I get critted for 800 dmg, how am I supposed to survive a tiny lag wave. So this morning, after doing 40 levels in 8 days I decided to quit until the bot ban list is announced.
So it's not really quitting.

i quit because i wasnt having the fun a game should do.

it was more of a job to get on and lvl.

Why not have a brake on the poll .. I dont quit the game but I take a brake from it someday and come back when I want it..

I might not quit, just take a break fcause of continuation of crappy service.

But taking a brake to me is like quitting .. I mean your leaving the game till it changes ,, taking a brake would mean go away come back blabla ... but to leave and come back ONLY if a certain requirement is fulfilled would be IMO quitting >.>

Friends quitting could be a reason for me to quit. I came to Rome to play with a friend, I made some more friends while playing, but they all quit, temporary or permanent. There's only one friend left who's still playing so that gives me a reason to go on.

Boredom would be more of a reason to quit. It's just grind grind grind, and sometimes I just can't be bothered with it anymore.

but not for me brake Is a brake quit you quit for forever and dont come back.

Because this game is run by complete idiots who think they are Gods.

i took many breaks in between one is for 3 months and the 2nd break is up to 11 months

Those 2:
Continuous lag / Bad login
Bots not getting banned

I voted for the first one, cause when that is fixed, the botters are gone.

CANNOT CONNECT DUE TO SERVER TRAFFIC sums it all IMO

If somehow I get banned or my friend gets banned cuz i always play games with him way more fun.

Same here.
Will never play a game that has the same system as sro's gold ticket. It just plain sucks.

So yeah, this will be the main reason for me leaving sro. Then the offcourse the lack of bots being banned, GM's not taking part in the community, server crowdness leaving me to never use the full 3 hours on my GT and no time left to do anything fun, events that only leads to a farked up economy and are plain boring, etc etc.

Now I'm only waiting for 2moons or some other game to come out so I can leave sro behind me. Still got friends in here that I enjoy playing with, the only reason I stayed for so long.

Bad login mostly.. if they did that "huuuge bot ban" the traffic would probably calm down for a few days but nooo

LOL running away with SOM would have me in a panic... I went PK and when I died I lost a piece of NPC shop armor and even that annoyed me, if it was SOM I'd be going AIEEEEEEE!

I don't even PK now because I'm afraid to lose my new shiny SOS +3 spear that I just got..

I think I will make a char and not put fancy stuff on him, just to PK noobs and get it out of my system.

other: alchemy - it hasnt been very nice to me latly, made me poor and what i got from it dosnt add up to much.

or stalling - nobody ever buys my stuff!!! i usually end up selling stuff for less than its worth because i cant be bothered to wait 2 months for that one person who will actually buy it for the price i want. again, leaving me poor


well, thinking about it, that all falls down to one thing.... money

on a side note, if you quit can i have any lvl 8 philosophy tabs/stones you may have on olympus? SEE! THATS HOW BAD ITS GETTING! im turning into a beggar, i even made a global the other day asking if anyone wanted to give me some free ones :\ stupid money....

well, before i had enough money to keep me going, it wasnt lots, wasnt gonna get me and 8 degree sos weps/gear but i would of been able to cope, now ive wasted so much money on my 8d spear and it has 0% mag attack and 1 stinking blue! And it takes me ages to sell stuff when stalling and i dont have time to afk stall all day everyday.

the only way im making money right now is grinding and npcing useless tabs. ill try and stall for a bit again later, hopefully ill sell something.

I'd never have my SOS spear right now but someone gave me a guild and the spear was in the storage.

So I got lucky there heh.

I might be quiting as soon as 2 moons comes out. That game rocks! If any of you guys are joining too, let me know, I'm gonna be a Vicious Summoner in the game, with Twinswords...^^ pownage...

I don't need to quit a game for another game yet again... I've done it way to many times lol.

I played Quake for 10 years and after I started getting into other games I couldn't stop changing my mind on what to play.

Obviously they are "gods" in their own right. Think about how they treat their clients, and how the clients (us, the people of silkroad) keep coming back. We continue to throw money at them, and the only thing that changes in game is the weather.

There really is only a few things that would make me quit. Either my friends left, or if the game shut down for good.
