It's probably meant to be jobbing/PvPing/Hunting Uniques, as any other MMORPG.

To grind night and day untill your head explodes from boredem and/or frustration.

Find out how to have fun, don't discriminate on friends by bot or not. You do that, you'll spend more time making new friends than keeping friends and ruin the experience. Just find a person, and judge them on the person them self and not how they play, and you should be able to have more fun.

People (bots) play because if they don't, other bots level up faster. It's an addiction.

In the end, this game is pointless. It is so boring (as evident by all the bots) that people themselves don't even want to play it. There are no challenges what so ever in this game. There is some randomization in the damage you can do and so on, but ultimately, if you win or lose a battle is predetermined based on your level and gear. This also make the "jobs" irrelevant since they are 100% based on fighting. Want to do a multistar? Got spotted by a higher level thief? Too bad. Game over. Nothing you can do.

To summarize: If players run away from you, fighting is pointless since you always win. If players run after you, fighting is pointless since you always lose. If none of you run away, you are probably both glaivers and cant kill each other making the fight pointless.

MMOs, despite the apparent popular belief, are not all about PVP and being high level. Really, every game is pointless, except maybe professional sports (you get paid), otherwise the entire point is to socialize and have fun.

What happened to the days when people actually had imagination instead of needing every bit of their entertainment done for them...

You know, that reminds me of a MUSH I used to play. There WAS no game except for what people made up, there was nothing to kill, no items to get, no money, just a big world to explore and socialize in and make stuff up as you go along. I miss doing that.
