Discussion below. Any flaming over this topic, and you're an idiot.
Basically, what kind of update do you want the most, and why?

I voted for Europe, because all think might come with that ^^
(exept bot block)

Most of you think that bots are the main problem, it is not.
Some think that bots own our spots, but that's not true. Even if all bots will get banned/blocked, we won't be able to get on. The login server is just too small.

WoW has hell alot more players, yet no, or low connect trouble.

I would like Gameguard to start doing what its supposed to :)

Large bot block.

Why? Because then the 2nd option (Ignore Feature) wouldn't be needed, and the other options are more fun without botters. :)

+1, except for the hundreds of goldbots, they actually DO take up YOUR spot! There are just so many of them..

WoW has hundreds of servers though. There's also the fact that Europe servers are separate from American servers.

Ignore feature and Europe.. uh can't choose.

Currently farming around the Bunwang area, which lead me to vote "mass bot ban". It's near impossible to farm there I'm thinking of raising masteries and waiting until the Penons.

The bot issue needs to be addressed before they start adding more places for them to bot.

But of course a few weeks after everything would be back to normal, we need these mass bans monthly, or they won't work.

Wow servers also cost 40-50 grand a peice. ~estimate~ So it's not fair to compare the two.

Bot block .. simply so that server traffic would get better,

Bringing euro or 90 cap attracts new players to the game which inturn makes server traffic worse.

Nice idea Joey.

Topic hasn't been opened long, and it's fairly obvious what the people want. Wake up joymax.

Bot Block too =)

But as someone helpful suggested on the official forums...

maybe a simple bit of code in the game exe that checks for known running bot programs and initiates an instant Ban ^^

won't be bots around for long...

Why do you think there are modded clients already? To take certain stuff out and to put other stuff in, so if that was implemented they would just simply take it out.

You missed an option. How about: "All of the above"? I think that since we pay we should have all those options, don't you?

don't see why they can't run a server side checksum on the client exe to check if it has been modded - if access is denied somehow, then they cannot connect to the game...

"Other" Is a catchall, can choose that and say that.
Point of the topic is really to see what people want now next above all. Since everyone knows JoyMax does things one at a time with at least a month between each thing.

Other:

They should implement and IQ test that you have to finish and score atleast 80 on to be able to chat and at least 100 to be able to global chat.

Lol, sorry, couldnt resist.

Anywho, i dont really care, im happy as it is. I complain about lag and bots sometimes in game but that susually down to stress/frustration at that particular moment in time... deep down, i dont really give a crap. I have my moments of fun, that makes its all good.

Large bot block -

useless since they dont keep it updated 1 large block once in a while is far less effective than cleaning out the servers one at a time and after cleaning them doing the same each week (since they seem to have a bot detection it should not be such a big problem IF Joymax really wanted clean servers)

Ignore feature
i rather have the ignore guild invites option first (now i got to make my own guild or join one and quit to be safe for couple days) ignore pm`s is a bit silly, close your chat and let them spam you.

Skill update
Need cap 90 update first

Job update
This sure would make isro a lot more fun for the lower levels.

Level cap to 90
Clean servers first then add the cap

Europe
Yeah would be nice

Other (Please describe below)
1 clean new server: a server joymax keeps clean from the start this can save a lot of whine, but will be unfair towards the other already created servers. server capacity was 4k right? 1 or 2 "clean" servers i sure wont mind restarting over again if i was guaranteed to have a clean server.

Bot block. They may just be a nuisance in some areas, but in others (bunwang, chakjis, muji/ujiji) there are so many of them they make it impossible to even kill a mob b/c they all ks. I'm glad that my primary char isn't in the 40s now, because all of those mobs are infested with them. :(

I vote for Euro update on the simple fact that would add so much more area that the bots would be more thinned. Get the euro update but don't go there at first, stay in china with less bots. Then you can ban them but first it would give us somthing new and thin the bots ^.^

i voted for job update...i've been waiting forever for that.

I'm really torn between Euro and Bot Block, but I definitely had to choose bot block first because then Euro would be so much more enjoyable.

If bot banning were taken more seriously maybe, just maybe less people would consider it. More people would actually be playing the game and since Euro seems to emphasize team play versus solo it would make Euro extra fun.

I mean, of course there are obvious reasons to ban bots too, but everyone has already listed them above me and I agree! ks'ers, server traffic, etc. etc., would be quite nice to live without :)
