what does double post mean ?

noobie questions: but whats does it mean ?
does it mean: posting the same idea/sentence 2 times or is 2 post that sums a answer/question
ex: 1st post " srf is great'
2nd post " it also helps us "

Hi i'm a doublepost! I'm from a guy who doubleposted me because he was to lazy to edit his previous post..
Doubleposting is generally seen as irritating. (Spamming, cranking up your post count)
So:
I'm a doublepost, KILL HIM(the poster)!
This was just an example, please do not attempt to assasinate TwelveEleven in anyway possible, thank you very much.
