To see what is the lag/delay between your pc and the server, do :
1. Start
2. Run
3. ping gwgt1.joymax.com or ping 121.128.133.26

Mine is ~340ms

Ok ... if ping expresses reaction time in ms [mili-seconds] ... what will be better then? ~.~

~360 ... although I have lags that should actually lead to pings over 3000 gaaah ... but yeah, that's the ping ... all pings to Asia are 300+ for me.

That IP is for one server, not sure which. How about posting the ip's to each server to ping. That's what matters while playing, the ping to the specific server.

Its the main connection server I beleive. Same should be for all.

Each server will have its own IP. If it was one IP for all of them, that would imply that it isn't 15+ servers, but one large server.

It's the master server's IP I guess.

Well then, if you are ingame, watch your traffic and find out the IP of the game server ... it used to be a 222.xxx..... but since the master now has a 121. they might have changed their whole IP range.

Use "cmd", then "netstat -n" (without the ") and look for such an IP.

Edit: I am on Persia now, IP is 222.111.176.15(:15779 <= Port)

My ping for that one times out atm so I can't tell.

Router, a switch...3 lines off the router...1 each on the first two lines, 3rd line goes into my room connected to a switch, 3 comptuers running in my room, this one, my "fun box" (used for experiments, well not really mainly downloading mass ammounts of media <not porn you sickos!>), and my friends computer which at the moment he is playing another MMO. I'm not on SRO right now.

Why is my connection so fast? It's only cable.

As long as you have a proper upload (most payable lines in most countries are async ... like for me 6MBit down 0,5MBit up), you may blast your download and still have nice pings ... or with alternative IP Protocols, which share the packets differently from the standard ones and thus make gaming under full download still possible. But for most MMOs, as long as you don't have huge lag spikes (like at the moment -_-), ping doesn't count that much.

Imagine a Shooter like CS or CoD with a ping of 200 or 300+ ... horrible.

Oh, and Speed is only ~~~~ ping ... because if your routing sux, you can still have good DL rates but your ping will be trash. So you can't say that 100% ... missing some words to describe it right now.

I dont know. A port scanner tell me Xian is located at 121.128.133.37, but it's impossible to ping it, i got time out.
121.128.133.26 is the general server and is the only one that i can ping; even though, the ping matches with the delay when i have lag in Xian

From 500ms, u'll feel the lag

532 ms = #1 reason I don't play SRO anymore lol.
