The 'Lost Ring' Quest

Something weird happened to me today, I went to kill ONG mobs cuz i was doing that lost ring quest (lvl 33 quest). Finally after lots of grinding i find the ring, my monkey collects it, it then asks me to go to the concerned NPC. But when i reach, i find that the ring is not there at all, is that a glitch?? Is it because I got like 3 other quests with me (including the Lachrymal Birthday Present quest)

Any idea whats wrong?

Did you accidentally sell it to an NPC?

happened to me. was sellin some drops i found and i sold ring XD. I was so freakin pissed. Took me around another 1-2 hours to find another one.

Make sure that it is not in your inventory. AFAICR, when a monkey picks up quest items they are directly deposited into your inventory and not in the monkey's inventory.

If i accidently sold it means I'm pwned?? Wtf.

And no, I didnt sell it, infact as soon as i went to DW, the firstthing i did was to goto the NPC so no question of accidently selling it.
