Farming at 42... SUCKS

Hi guys.
Just wanted to tell you all and worn those lvl 3x planning on farming at 42.

It sucks. Real bad.

Ive been planning on farming for a long time now. Bought an uber SOS spear +4 with full blue for lvl 42. Figured I was set. Appearnatly I was wrong, as I can't even one hit Red Eyed Ghosts as a PURE INT.
I'm with a 9 lvl gap, with more than decent gear, but the damage is so lame. The 9 gap imakes me an easy ksing target at Bunwangs.

Well I don't really know what to do as it took me a long time to open a 9 gap and im not gonna close it up now. I'll keep this lame farming. I dunnon who I should go for though.

Dead Ravine:
*Crappy Lame Spawn Rate. still better than bunwangs I think because not too many people. spend most of the time waltzing around, once in like 5 minutes I find a big lump of 20 red eyed ghosts together, but then they die and im left all alone again.
*Abnormal Status-spend more money on pills then I make via farming.
*Crappy drops (If i even get any)
*Ussually cant one shot them wit a nuke. Though they do die sometimes after one shot.
*They dont do much damage
*A bit more than 1 SP per kill.

Bunwangs:
*LAMER spawn rate. Too much running around nad lots of lvl 45+ wit no gap ksing me.
*They ussualy die with Nuke+Lion Shout. Though sometimes thats not enough.
*They hit me hard since im in Garms. Usually die if 4 gang up on me.
*More SP per kill then ghosts.
*Better drops.

Dunno maybe Maongs are the way to go. Anyways all u guys waiting to farm at 42 - Wait For Penons!@!

i'm grinding at bunwang with a 43 pure int no gap, I nuke+lion all of them, if they mob on me I die

oh and i'm using a 42+3 spear so you should be ok

yeah i know what u mean, cuz im lvl 36 and right now im questing for the stupid ass flowers, and its taking forever cuz of the amount of people killing them, and all of the stupid ass pure int nuker BOTS!!!!

i honestly cant imagine it getting much worse than the flower spots

If your complaining about killing something the same level as you (ghosts), then I can't imagine it being any different at 52. Penons are (2) levels above you, not to mention the massive amount of ks'ing you have to take because of all the bots there.

I have a wolf. He's very helpful cos after I hit the bunwangs/ghosts and theyre left with like 15 HP instead of finishing them off I jsut let the wolf do it. And I think the fact that I have a 9 gap is much more cruical then I expected. I was sure that Bunwangs would be an easy one hit :cry:

Thats true I guess. But I hear Penons have much better spawn rate, and that there are much less Bot Ksers there than there are at Bunwangs.

For me the flowers werent so bad since Im pure Int and killed them fast. I remember my friend telling me how slow it was going for him as a blader there though.

go Maong or maybe red scorpion if you can't do it and farm Bunwang at lv 45. I've done it on my 47 pure int in oasis.

My buddy was farming at Bandit archers till a few days ago. He quit at like 10k but only because it was boring. He got SP ..... fast!
I dont mind being bored I just wanna get some SP

PLyed the reselling game a whole lot. Got 30mil profit out of it to buy spear. +some more extra for gear and stones. If SOS +4 with 67% MAg attack aint decent farming gear what is?? I didnt even see a SOM on the whole server

Farming at 16 doesn't su ck. This is why everyone says to farm at lv 16.
Over 1 sp per kill, 1 hit, SUPER spawn rate.

Anyways, to topic starter, you should get alot of int blues, because my friend was able to 2 hit mujijis at lv 42, with a 9 gap. He wasn't even pure int.

I loled hard at this subject. I farmed 50k of sp in a month at lvl42...
AND IM A PURE STR BLADER! :shock:

Look mate, lemme tell u something crutial. I was lvl42, with gap9. I had a som 42+6 blade, sos 42+3 shield br19, sos set deg5/6 garment and accessories, all max pimped out. One of the best pieces of equipment back then. I farmed at ujigis/mujigis using GT. I farmed approx. 2k of sp a day. That farm saved my ass of being week. I only regret I didnt farm more than 1 month

I wont tell u all the details, cuz u might disagree with me. Just go and try, and find a good spawn point. After lvl16, best farm is lvl42.

Also, I might as well tell u about a som spear I had. It was 42+5 som, full blue, fabulous stats. I sold it for 104kk. So if u are not super rich, do forget about it. Ofcourse, it was Babel, also known as the Demented Prices Server.

som or sos is a big difference that it was easy for you to farm there was because of that weapon.
having a sun 64 is also a blessing to farm but not guaranteed, some people cant get a som or sun and are happy with a sos.
start buying 100% int/str geared stats make sure they are 100%
sos or not it is not important as long as you have full int on it should help you a lot, finding this kind of gear takes usually time so start whenever you can but this is usually cheaper then doing your own alchemy.

-get full int (or as much int as you can on all gears) the more int on your gear the faster you will kill. (higher magical attack) i suggest you go garments because you will be able to kill before being hit.

-get jewelry with fire/poison resistants

-get fireshield (take a shield with you to buff)

-Don`t forget that jewelry is very important most people just buy their own level/degree defenses but forget the jewelry.

-farming in ravine you need to move a lot, the spawns are usually on same spots get in between 2 spots (groups) and walk forward back each time you cleaned 1 spot.

Bunwangs i tend to avoid them just because of the incredible amount of bots and high damage even when you are in armor at that level. you will need armor because if they hit hard and you will need to move a lot so armor slows you down.

But if you tend to stay pure int just rush towards 69 or if you got more gold at 72 (72+5 weapons are kinda expensive) and farm at the nachals 68+5 spear is probably as expensive as your spear now.

you can also try ishades at 52 but finding a good spot is usually hard.

Yup...get a wolf. Mine is only level 22 and i'm level 34, but i'm pulling up its level real fast. Ratio for me and wolf is 4:1 WOLF...and during the time it takes you to kill a Red Eye, you're wolf can maybe strike 1-2 times giving an extra 200 dmg

I don't understand how can a LVL 42 Full INT with LVL 33 Masteries kill efficiently LVL 49 & 50 monsters (Mujigi & Ujigi) without dying.

train on small bunwangs (south east of where it says Grassland ... i think). You will either 1 nuke them, or 1 nuke+lion shout them. If both of those fail, 1nuke+ghost spear. Bunwangs have an amazing spawn rate for such an open area. The spawn is MUCH better than red/dark eyes, and you dont die from passing thieves/traders at bunwangs. Small bunwangs are passive, so they wont gang up on you. Anyway, 52 farming is a lot better imo.

For Rainigul, farming at 16 sucks on most servers. On most of the older servers, you see 10 people at each side of the stronghold 24/7, all ksing each other. If you're lucky you can kill 2 bandit archers in a row without getting ksed. You get a measly (130-140)/400 sp per kill if you train at lv 16 on bandit archers without gold ticket. Sure the spawn rate is nice, but the 10 other farmers make it hell. Then you have the occasional noobs that bring in trade caravans or monster scrolls killing you while they say "sry i nid 2 kil bot".

Um... only 1/3 of an sp per kill. Other farmers not so much of a problem. Just show em who's boss and they leave. Botters on the other hand... so ANNOYING.

fyi, lvl 16 farmers do not get 1 sp per kill at stronghold, it's more like 133spexp, so at least 4 to kill to get 1 sp, and no, every1 does not stay at lvl 16 to farm, only a few handful who seems to only do nothing but farm :roll:

& topic starter, go to maongs, u 1shot1shout, & u get 1/2 sp per kill, & i've gotten like 3-4 sos drops farming maongs, & no giant to deal with

I guess I'll keep on going for a while. currently at 10k SP.
I don't have a SOM spear and I won't have one either. I was sure that having a +4 SOS was rare enough.. So to all you uber farmers telling me how I should kill Ujigis u should know that htey probably two hit me (1 hit with Crit).

So Ill keep killing Ghosts/Maongs/Bunwangs.
Ghosts pretty much suck all around.
Maongs are pretty cool actually. Not a lot of people on Tarim side and good spawn rate.
Bunwangs are problematic but probably most fuin. All you guys telling me how wonderful theyre spawn rate is, I jsut dont see it. hey barely spawn and the few that do get 1shot ussualy. But I dunno why illing them makes time pass by much quicker.
