Aight I've been looking forward to lvl 38 since lvl 1 because I have a lvl 38 +3 crit 15 spear and ok blues. Well I was mostly omega excited for the crit 15 and well I finalyl reached the lvl but... after killing almost 200 mobs and usuing pure melee attacks.

I hit crit like 9 times. double you tee eff. crit 15 (91%) sucks. lol
You would think for having that high of a crit it would crit like ever 2 hits or so. guess not.

I used sos but this thing has better magical dmg than my sos spear.

isnt it...15 out of 100 so you should have hit 30 crits in those 200 mobs (more actually)...

9 times on 200 mobs, isnt that to low...guess you werent looking xD

What happens is, with a spear, you don't kill a mob with a lot of blows. It takes 3-4 hits. That's why crit 15 is not exceptionally good. A crit 15 blade, however would pwn. My crit 13 can do a heaven chain full crit.

even a crit 1 blade could do the heaven chain full crit...depends on the moment

but a crit 1 blade is very unlikely to do so. For a crit 13 it happens pretty often.

What about physical balance? Doesn't that also determine the number of crits as well?

I don't think so. Pure INT's crit as much as pure STR's, not nearly as strong however.

yeah but its nice hitting a full chain of crits

I always use crit 4-8 weapons (although occationally higher). I tend to crit a cr ap load with a low crit weapon.

I did blood & billow chain once and hit all crits (although one shot was blocked)

That was with my crit 9 lv 35 sword.

I also block alot too.

Some people are just lucky I guess.

Crit this block that it's all totally random. My crit 5 sword crits 10x more than a m8's crit 14 sword.

A friends br 12 shield blocks way more than my br 18.

That's sro for you. Dmg is random / defense is random / br + crit all random.

my crit 9 glavie gets more crit hits than my crit 12

yep like 90% turks the other 10% hate turks so...

I have a crit 15 lvl 60 sword I've got to sell sometime.

lol true on the turk, i just say i can lvl thief and hunter faster killing turk nukers cuz only a turk would think garment would be better.



and crit does help cuz my crit4 doesnt hit as many as my crit8 i seen that it also counts on the mob for some reason i hit 5 criticals in a row on mobs 3/4 lvls under me yet 1/2 on a mob my lvl

yea i donno, i think crit helps, i dont think they'd just put it there for no reason lol....i've been using 11 crit weapons for the past like 15 lvls and will be using another 11 crit weapon for another 15 lvls so i donno, it looks to me like i crit more with a higher crit weap

Crits are random.. although there's significant difference for 4 and 10. My 17 crit spear crits about 4/10 and crit 15 bow 3/10.

u can get crits easily if u just weaken the enemy

Still having 91% chance to crit you honeslty would think I would crit a little more than average at least.

Well i can say one blade crit 7+ is very good very often with chain! One time i get 5 crits in a row snake sword soul cut and billows chains first 3 hits. But i never reach 5 hit combo full crit! With my 8 crit blade. When i had 11 crit i had one time blood chain full crit! BTW nukers never crit. your spear? if you use nukes and other magics you count them all together,right? SO use only weapon skils, nukes dont have crits!

Hmm, I know my crit 9 blades crit so often I don't even notice anymore. They are almost a part of planning out grinding because I know that it will happen. My shield is the same. I have a low br, but still block more then I did when I had a higher br. So I doubt the stats are completely true.

Ok people I get the point that blades/swords pwn with a decent crit but still this is about my spear that WAS impressive but now is just a pile of trash =[.

I'll post SS when I get home.

And I have no idea how to raise the magic dmg %.

Take a proper sample before you reach your conclusions. I went from a crit10 to a crit14 bow, it's a very noticeable difference.

reset mag dmg with philosophy stones
adding attack rating helps a lot too o.o

No philosphy, is something with shields I think. or acc.

Depends on the char I think too, I got a crit 12 (+83%) lvl 64 +4 glaive and I crit alot and hard lol so ya...
