Has any high lever bower ever maxed out black hawk?
Is it worth it?

Is there any way in justifying using that over white hawk?

Well mine is only at level 1, I guess it can do "chip down" damage to Mobs along with a Wolf and Burn if u have Fire Imbue. Its not important in PvP because it doesnt do much damage.

The white hawk is good beacause of the extra attack rating, meaning you hit closer to your heighest damage range more frequently.

I intend to get the Black hawk soon though, just in case I need it for the new hawk series when the cap increases.

So in short dont think about the black hawk much rite now.

I use Black Hawk instead of White and Blue ones and it's good enought, thank you. Well, at least it will be until about level 70, when I can't level it anymore. Anyway I still use a lot of attack rating scrolls and I can't use White and Blue hawks together with it, and it's fun to kill people and mobs with it.

No, it's not worth it yet.

If you have the blue hawk, you'll be doing more dmg overall, instead of a black hawk slowly pecking away.

and with blackhawk lvl1 i can kill faster than with whitehawk lvl8. don't know about what happens when maxed, but think of it this way: whitehawk only has an effect if you attacks, but blackhawk attacks by itself. that means if you've been stunned or kd, the blackhawk would continue to dmg your opponent while the whitehawk would have no effect because you are not attacking.

i guess that's one advantage of blackhawk :\

had blue hawk maxed grinding, didn't feel much difference

switched to black hawk, felt some difference

bow = crit = str

i had the black hawk and it makes some difference. Without the hawk it took me steel + explosion to take down a mob. With a black hawk, I can take the mob down in steel + combo.

Hawk+wolf = dmg.

If your hawk and your wolf both do about 500 dmg, that's 1k dmg right there.

the black hawk only does really well if you land it at an ammo refilling station and get like 8 hellfire missiles and some stingers put on. And refill the large callibur gun too

At cap 90: hawk 1k + wolf 1k = 2k dmg. Very usefuk in job war

The hawk get's really strong later, and all skills in your tree are worth maxxing, just max the needed ones first unless you farmed, then just max all of them in the tree

wolf gets killed = 1k

With my hawk on level 7, it deals about 989 damage on mangyangs. I'm almost sure that the damage on the bow makes a difference when summoning a Black Hawk, but I have yet to test it. Which I will... Tonight.

Adding 1k to your base damage should help getting the glaivers hp down.

And you allreaddy have added AR from your passive and your weapon can have much more AR added as a hawk ever could do.

the hawks arnt really the best

really from the passive and the weapons AR already beefed up, i really like the black hawk over the white hawk, still have to get the blue hawk im only lvl 35 bt the black hawk helps me kill things so much faster..

its worth the black hawk, as the dude before me said, look at the new skills, u see the black hawk doing 1k damage to pure str lvl 90 glavier.

new black hawk does 1k dmg on lvl90 glaiver BUT thats on d9 tier 1 not 3 + its npc gear so tier 3 +ed with some blues will affect the dmg
