how to invite for guild?

this may sound noob but i really can't figure it out?
how can i invite someone for my guild?

well first you click on that person
press U, and then click on "Invite"

No, you click "Joining".

You're thinking of Party invite. The button to invite someone to a guild has always been "Joining".
