I was chatting with my old Union Master and got a confession of botting out of him. Though this isn't that great to the union in general, (most knowing he quit the union to bot), I was rather displeased. I dislike bots with a passion, and now I have an issue that I can't figure out what to do with. On one hand, I would be making the game better, and on the other I could upset the union by reporting. What should i do?

It's one bot, and it's a cool one at that.
I hate bots, but most likely JM won't do anything about it anyways.
I happen to like some bots too:
BurnMastaX, Muxa, SanosukeSan, _Grumpy_. They're all cool, I'd never report them.

You should ban the gay ones with jibberish names and who aren't nice, and who beat you at leveling no matter how hard you grind.

Could you go to Penons and ban this guy for me? QQ1. I hate that guy sooooooo much.
He stole my characters look , and he's ice blade which would kick my ass if I ever pvped him.

I don't think isro is gonna get much better actually, we're the people who give JM the money to improve sro and their own lives.
Gameguard can work very well if you put the right setting on, but JM didn't do it for isro.
KSRO won't start if GG doesn't start up or if the files have been tampered with, isro doesn't check if GG is working properly, it just shows the "Splash" to give you some hack/bot preventing reassurance.

Anyways, ban QQ1 please.

you just a traitor, the guy trusted you by telling you this, its like you ask if you should report to your friend's mum that he told you he did something bad ... you really an ass hole for me, i dont like bots neither, but i dont report them, or atleast, i dont do shit like you

@ rangah: Having it posted here won't do anything. No GM's look at this forum, and if they do, they never take any of it outside the forum to do anything about it.

@ Rain: I have no reason, other then how the union would react, as to why I shouldn't report him. I hate bots, and especially ones who also claim that without the "friends and fans" wouldn't have made it that far. Well bs, I am sure that the bot would have done it just fine without "friends and fans". As for the GG, I wish it would work. That would be so awesome. >.<

As far as what to do - ask your self if you wish to be associated with a botter or don't care if he's a friend.

Umm, he doesn't like me at all. The only reason he actually said something like that was because I am a GM in the union he started. It is a known fact among the union that he quit to bot, so he would have little reason to deny it at this point.

Yeah, there's some video on youtube that shows some guys who download softmod and bots and stuff and use them on isro, and it works just fine.
Then they try it on ksro, but the game doesn't launch because it doesn't get the correct reply from gameguard.

Anyways, Since you don't like bots (me neither), and he claimed to get far from friends as fans. You can ban him if you like. And if he DID quit the union, there isn't really anything holding you back from banning him (he did quit, right?).
You don't have to if you don't want, but don't show the gm's this page, if the gm's learn about srf, then bad things will happen I think. That's if they care enough to look at it though.
