I haven't tried it yet and i got some sos items that i want to try them on. My understanding are as follows:
1. use elixirs to +'s items, use also lucky powder of same degree as item, this will not affect any blues (except luck).
2. use of tabs, can't use lucky powder to add blues, this may also assimilate other things.
3. use of tabs to fix stats, may also assimilate blues (?)
so to pimp gears, what should i do first assuming i want to add blues, fix stats and plus items? tnx.
Alchemy
White stats usually arent really looked at until higher levels. Well most of the white stats...the exceptions are typically crit & BR on shields.
Usually when i do up a piece of gear, i find its easier to + an item that is clean (has no blues) so i always do the +'s first. Then i fix any white stats that need fixing, doing the crit last, then add blues, adding STR last since its one of the most important to me and the most expensive stone\tab to buy. It would suck to get STR5 on your item first, then during the rest of your blues, have it assimilated and have to spend more on stones.
To sum it up, i usually change the stat that is most important to me last.

Hmm i do it the other way round instead. If its a weapon with lousy crit, i will do the blues first then do the crit then do the +. If its armour parts, i will do the blues then the +.

ya, always to +'s first, a new clean weapon will go +5 must easier than a weapon thats had tons done to it already, than fix white except crit, add blues except str and int, add those last with the crit being last, as crit is the hardest to get fixed, so u dont want that to assim ever, and it might assim higher dring all the other alchemy (happened to me assim crit 4-10)
