Is critical the hardest thing to be reset?

poeple said they used 20 stone but still 0%
my weapon has crit 6, but i wanna get it 8+
is it worth to do alchemy? I hope i dont need like 20 stones to succeed

please share your crit alchemy experience

its random. EVERY ITEM HAS ITS LUCKY % you cant see this but items have it if ITEM LUCKY % is high enough it will be perfect for alchemy and will not fail so often but if LUCKY % is lower and you are failing at alchemy a lot then you just should sell it or rondo it.

depends btw on your wep if you should up the crit...are you gonna use it for a long time? (last wep ingame) or is it a 5D wep or something like that ^^

JM make 99 out of 100 item with bad luck so they can earn more money.

isn't the highest critical possible like 18?

i dont think so.... i think it might be higher but watever.

it took me about 20 stones to get crit from 4-9

it was 8once but i refused to let it stay there. the very next stone it went to 9.

if i had more money i would invest in getting 10+ but its totally random.

38 % of what it can be increased, weapons have a minimum critical. spear has highest minmum. It's 4 i think. blade is 1, the lowest.

I believe it is a lot higher. There is a pic of a SoSun 64 bow with a 12 crit and it is only at 50%.

This is something a lot of people don't understand. 50% does not mean 50% of the max. This means the max on that SoSun is not 24. You have to have at least two different stats for the same item to find the max.

Example:
Any normal shield that has a BR of 10 will be at (+0%).
Any normal shield that has a BR of 13 will be at (+30%).
This means that increasing the BR by 3 gave a 30% increase. Each BR gives 10% more. Simple algebra will tell you that BR 20 is (+100%).

Example:
Any sos shield that has a BR of 14 will be at (+0%).
Any sos shield that has a BR of 17 will be at (+50%).
This means that increasing the BR by 3 gave a 50% increase. Each BR gives 16% more (about one-sixth). Simple algebra will tell you that BR 20 is (+100%).

Example:
My SoM bow had a crit of 5 (+0%).
I changed it to a crit of 7 (+18%).
This means each crit gives me about (+9%).
I can increase my bow's crit by 11 from it's lowest crit.
(+0%) + 11 * (+9%) = (+99%) which is rounded to (+100%).
5 + 11 = 16.
The max crit I can get on my SoM bow is 16 (+100%).

The SoSun bow probably starts around a crit of 6 or 7 when it's (+0%).
This means the max crit on the SoSun bow is going to be 17 or 18.

I've found that the stones that work usually assimilate like the 30% ones.

My Iron bow had a crit of 7 and after two stones i got it up to 10 (45%)
But i have heard a lot about people using 15+ stones and go nowhere >< Hope that doesnt happen to me later on lol.
Sometimes people just need to know when to stop and try another day.

My 72 blade was crit 5 when i got it but 71% phys, 71% magic, and 51% phys reinforce. I got it up to crit 8 after 10 or so stones. I added Str 4 and Int 4 on it. Then i tried to blue the attack rating, which only gave me like 5% the the crit went down to 4. Then I tried to fix the crit and it stayed at 4 and assimilation to 22% physical.

Then after I guess a month or so. My crit has been fluctuating between 1 and 4. A bunch of assimilations happened and my Str is 3 and Int was 2 but then brought back up to 3. Phys went down to 0% and then to 42% and I decided to quit messing with it.

I ended up making my blade +4 because I might as well use it even if i sucks. Then today I got the attack rating from 5% to 30% and the crit from 4 to 6.

So overall it is +4, 42% phys, 71% mag, 51% reinforce, crit 6, str 3, int 4, block 32, high durability, and attack rating +30%.

See how much of a headache this is? :x

Crit 5 -> 13 in one try.

That was on my old 6D sword.

I'm lucky with new alchemy.

Just luck I guess. Crit on my old sos blade went (crit was 4 to start out): (4) -> Fail -> 3 -> 8.

But I've heard crit seems the hardest to get "nice"

Wrong..
U need to take into account the minimum Crit. Which Im pretty sure isn't 0

I have a theory:

If you are int, you are less likely to get drops.
If you are str, you are more likely to get drops.

If you are int, you are less likely to get successful magic/int alchemy success.
If you are str, you are less likely to get successful physical/str/crit alchemy success.

Took me 12 stones to get the int on my gloves from +1 -> +2.
However, it only took me 1 stone on every one of my items to get from +0 str -> +4/5str.

critical is VERY helpful..

i recently purchase a SOS lvl 24 +3 glavie + int and str and a 13 critical for 5mil and i'm satisfy with its performance.. :D

Yep, crit is important - good for str players, but even more so for int/spear users...if you have to swing your spear instead of nuke, you want to know that you're gonna hit something with everything you've got b/c your life could depend on it, lol...especially if you're full int nut in garment fighting physical mobs.

I dont tink tis Theory is proven.... its all mere LUCK :)
