I think most of you know the concept behind the Real Life game 'Gotcha'.
Do you think it's possible to create an SRO/SRF version of this?

Instead of 'shooting' the opponent you could just punch him and make screen of that if necessary.
For high levels the difficulty will be not punching the low levels to dead, for low levels it will be difficult not to die while searching the high level.

Any enthousiast wanna give this a try?

i dont know the game

really easy:
each contester gets the name of another contester (eg in pm through this forums)
the goal is to punch the player holding that name in game (and if needed take a screen of it)
the player who has been punched must then give the name he received in pm to the one that punched him and is out of the game
the player who punched than has a new goal: the player with the name he just received from the one he punched.
In the end only 1 is left and he wins the game.

You can add the no witnesses option in it (when you punch someone else and that is witnessed by another contester it does not count)

It's just an idea, we played it on campus with those water pistols while i was at university

haha that's actually a pretty cool idea. it may involve people making lvl 1 chars on other servers to track down the people they need to punch lol....

EDIT: wait, that won't work, since you can't PK (and hence can't punch another and go putple) until, what, lvl 10? 15? i forget. still a cool idea though.

well... you do get the Experience helper event tickets when creating a new character on another server. So you can reach 10-15 easily in less then 3 hours...

problem is possibly: while there be enough contestants for each server...

This sounds interesting. I added a poll to this post to see who would want to participate, if we get a good response.

Ill work with Achmalach to set up a sort of SRF contest.

I am not enthousiast at all so ..only leave me out from it ..But other who want it ,is perhaps fun to have some SRF contest.

This does sound interesting. I would participate, but I don't get to play SRO all that much. My character would be stalling in town (or offline) most of the time. You can't punch a player when they are in town, but you can hit them with heal medical hand (definitely) or vital spot muscle (I believe). So if your target is hiding in town, one of those skills should work for the contest right?

Wouldn't the person with the Highest Speed and Less Lag be on greater advantage?

HAHA you can puch me for all i care... (but i am hiding out on olympus and there is hardly anyone from SRF there)

So how are people supposed to find their tragets?? like if i was gonna punch a level 80 and he was in hotan, how am i supposed to get to him? and how am i supposed to know he is in hotan ?... ask him

I like the idea, only problem is someone might kill you.

But in the higher levels, you won't have to worry about it because everyone is bots except the person you want to punch

hmm you can only kill if you hit with imbue a level 1 i think else he will have 10% health left lolz
Find the targets? That's part of the game...
Let's say i have suicide girl as a target then, i'll go to her server, try to find her level arround here and her guild, try to contact someone of her guild and then try to locate her.

It's not about a whole day of going on random servers punching... more like searching teh other person and finding him...

Ok, well it seems that a majority seems interested in this. Over the weekend i, and hopefully with the help of Achmalach will be working on the set up, rules and everything.

Since im guessing Achmalach wants to be part of this. He will not see the list of all the people who are participating. By monday, an official post will be made.

And i think it would be better with capes... PK is a lvl 20 feature, while capes are lvl 10
