Spear lvl 42+5.. Enough for farming?

Hi all.
I have question for some people who skill point farmed at lvl 42..
Do you think that a lvl 42 +5 Spear will (+40%Mag. Attack) will do enough damage to one hit Dark Eyed Ghost? Take into consideration that i'm gonna be with 9 gap.

I don't have enough money to buy a SOS, +5 is the best I can get.. and I'm getting a fairly good price I think (7mil)

nuke+lion shout will work just fine.

iirc I 2-hitted (or 2nukes+shout) Dark eyed ghosts with a lv38+3 sword at lv40. So with a lv42+5 you should be able to one hit 'em, just alchemy your farming gear (lots of int) and you'll be fine.

Well lion shout+nuke isnt good enough.
I need to one shot 'em

no i'm currently farming with 42 +4 and i dont get close to one shotting them, so i doubt an extra + will help that much...but yeah nuke+shout works.

But wait are u farming with spear or sword? cause your sig says ur S/S

try upping the mag attack to 50% +++ and then see whats up
up the Phy attack if u have flying dragon-flow, then u can launch your spear at them once u nuked thier ass

42+5 isnt that great for 7M..got my 48+5, 75% mag for 7.9M O.o
