I'm thinking of making a new character since i'm bored of my pure int and i wanted to try something new.

Pure str blade/bow advantages: Ultimate tanker, pawns in PvE.
Disadvantages: slow lvler, don't have blade and bow, can't kill other pure str players.

Hybrid int s/s & spear advantages: i have the weapons(1st deg to 7th deg), nuke while tanking.
Disadvantages: weak nukes, (can't think of anything else)

If you notice any flaw(s), please feel free to correct it.

P.S.: i made this poll after watching Embodiment's video and Cool2Fool/Purified's, both are pretty badass

Expect something similar as pure Int if you are going for hybrid s/s or spear (except lower damage), because you grind the same way. If you want something new try out pure Str builds.


depend on how much effort you want to spend on the new character too, if you can be patient, make str blade if not I suggest a str bow


Also have you thought about duel welding?

I've seen what a fully farmed blader can do. So I'd say full str blader on fire.

And don't even try a hybrid nuker... u won't have enough dmg to kill something and also not enough tank for PvP. I'd say it doesn't worth the time spend on growing it.

i like the nuker/tanker part.

@destructionmama: both builds ARE dual wields.

It's just i want the try the opposing side of my main character: pure str

And besides, i want to try pulling the string(bow) and pawn everyone.

Sorry I didn't pay enough attention on reading the duel welding part LOL

In that case, if you want a strong character I would suggest a Hybrid INT duel weld spear/s/s

but make sure you get the char balance right.

don't disregard hybrid builds, because I know many hybrid builds that are quite strong in PvP and PvE and they can kill even people higher level than themselves with similar gear. Hybrid builds depend a lot on gear and tactics, but bladers are more of a hack and slash type (straight forward to play).

What i meant was they are able to withstand more dmg than pure ints(yes, my pure int can tank lol).

Glaive gets boring real easily though... Unless u stick with it till like 4x

well also lvl 31 you get the flying dragon spear lvl 36 you get the soul spear truth ( jump up and slam down move ) so it's boring untill i say around 35ish

Be blade bow.

Bow levels fastest of all str weapons.
In pvp, run around with bow, and use it as opener, then when you meet someone your level, open up with bow moves until they reach you and be blade for the rest of the battle.
My alt is just plain bow, but blade/bow is great. I just don't have the sp :S.
