4:1 STr side bladers any good? thanx

isn't that basically pure str? u put 3 points into str + the 1 point put in automatically and u get 4:1

Why are people afraid for the unknown.
People should realise chinese chars can go hybrid, unlike eurochars who are forced to go pure.

It all comes down to this
You trade damage for HP incase of an int hybrid and HP for damage in case of an str hybrid.

dont be afraid of going hybrid but u should look how much hybrid u wanna go. a tip go to aege its filled with hybrid bladers IMO 35~ points in int are fine u still end up with 100% phy and 57+% mag

IMO there is NO USE for int if you wanna go blader, since bladers do kd+stab and sometimes, the chain combos. Magical attacks are definitely unnecessary. Bladers are known for their insane defense, but the downside to that they have slightly lower damage than full str glaivers. So YangKang's idea might be a good idea since int ups the damage, but you gotta maintain the high physical percentage. At least 96% or up. Then again, bladers use physical attacks, so it may be weaker. Who knows, you can try it for yourself and see wat happens.

But if you have insanely large amount of gold, and can afford lots of alchemy stones, go FULL STR, since you can always add INT+STR to your gear.

A friend of mine is adding some int to his blader and it seems to work good.

INT is absolutely beneficial to a blader, but id say go pure str, and add int with alchemy.

+1 - will work really well if find a blade that has super Magic and mag reinforce % in order to utilize the extra int.

ok if 4:1 is hybrid... THEN WTH IS PURE??? you can only put 3 on anything, if you put all on str + the 2 taht are automaticly added to str and int, is there anyway you can be more pure then 4:1?

no you cant but 4:1 ISNT pure, PURE is when u put EVERY single point u can into str. 4:1 is already hybrid because u put 1 point into int. adn those 2 points that are auto. added actually dont count when you say i go hybrid/pure w/e

so there is absolutly no way to go pure in this game at all?

theres no way to go "PURE" int but u shouldnt worry actually these 2 points just help you get ure balance back because each level u raise it gets harder to get 1% of balance so i wouldnt mind much just relax ;D

No. When u talk about 4:1 hybrid u dont consider the 2 points u have automatically assigned when u lvl (1 in int and 1 in str). U are talking about the 3 stat points u get to do with watever u like. 4:1 means that say at lvl 2 u add 3 str then lvl 3 u would 1 in and 2 str then lvl 4 u would 2 str and 1 int and so on.4:1 is hybrid 3:0 is pure str.

Now the answer the question, should blader go hybrid? imo no a hybrid blader is pointless. bladers already have less hp then glaivers so addin int u lose valuable defence. and adding only 1 int for every 3 str u wouldnt get any considerable increase in magical balance that would effect your over attacking power greatly. Bladers are not known for their hitting rather defence so a little bit increase in attack power is really not gonna make a difference.

Why not since bladers are almost unable to kill at 80 cap. i guess it'll get even worse for bladers at 90 cap. people will get more hp. ok we'll also get new skills and weapons but i still think bladers will still lack damage. putting some int could be an affective move to increase blader's attacks but 4:1 doesnt seem to be a good idea. i'd suggest 6:1 or 7:1.
ps: if i were to train a blader, i would go for pure str xD it's already darn hard to lvl blader, i'd really be scared of messing it.

zomg like I said 30-60 points in int aslong u stay at 100% phy or near it ure fine dont go under 97% or ure cursed by black fox!

Anyways, I imagine if you were a str hybrid, you should be blade. Extra defence from shield, and supposedly extra attack from int (but that's arguable).

Pure str is best though.

No 4:1 is not the same as 3:0. When somone says the ratio of their chars is 2:1 or 3:1 or 4:1 etc, they mean only the 3 stat points u get the work with, and not the 2 u get automatically assigned.

ROFL did you just tell him chill out? Usually when you talk about ratios you exclude the points added automatically.
