I'm relatively new to SR and have so far learnt to do everything myself.

I don't like to pester people with noob questions after learning how annoying it was on another game where I was at the highest level.

Well, this is one I have tried a few times and failed

I'm trying to work on levelling my merchant skills. It has so far gotten to the amazing amount of 17% into lvl 1 I.E. 1 sucessful trip
I do 1 star runs, stay off the main roads, stay away from monsters etc. kill thieves when they appear, heal my horse, keep everything going well, then a group of player thieves show up, realise they can't attack me so spawn high level thieves to kill me instead

I'm lvl 25, almost 26 but I'm no competition for the spawns, they 1 hit me as you can imagine lol.

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting to Dowhang in 1 piece? Or should I give it up as a bad job until I'm a higher level?

you could always get higher lvl friends to escort you then you can do multi-star, otherwise i would give it up untill higher lvl

I only know 1 other person on SR, a friend who's the same lvl as we started the game together. Besides that, I don't want to be a whining noob forever getting people to drop what they're doing to help me not get killed. So I guess I'll go train some more

Stay off the main roads. use western jangan ferry not eastern

Yeah basically stay away from main roads, and try to take the most obscure route you can. Thieves are pretty much bored high levels, so they roam around popping lowbies and stuff.. Another thing oyu can do is do trade runs at quiet times. Depends on your server though, as to when the server is quiet.

Hi there, best thing to do is to join a giuld so that way you all can buddy up and trade. Safer in numbers!! Helps if u have high levels to help you out! Good Luck trading!

I'm on the Alps server.

I did a trade run last Friday, my only sucessful one, the other tries were at the weekend where I guess servers are busier.

West ferry can be just as bad, the upshot is that it isn't as long of a trap as east.

Use a horse, and run. At your level I had about 60% success rate with escaping poppers. When you near the ferry, go slow and try to spot them first. If they see you and come after you, just beeline for the ferry dock as fast as possible. Their horse can't go any faster than yours, so if you stay ahead of them keep going. Don't stop to clear off mobs from the horse or anything, just hit heal button for your horse and keep running for the dock. Many times if you get ahead of them they will just back off to wait for easier prey.

Once I'm near the docks, I actually don't worry so much. I stay on the horse and heal it if i need to and ignore anything hitting me.

These thieves are on Jangan bored and looking for something to do / someone to annoy lol

would have escorted you if you were on Xian but nvm now >.>

:O ur lvl 25 and u dont know how to kill monsters??!

well u click on them, choose a skill and attck

and at lvl 25 no mobs on ur way to DW should be able to one hit you. what build are you?

where did he say he got 1 hit by a mob? he got 1 hit by a high lvl npc thief...

Best thing to do would be to team up with a guild. Or follow a large size caravan and mix in with the noobs going along. The high lvls in that caravan, even if they like you there or not, will have to kill all thiefs including yours to protect their noobs.

Get your union and go have a 5* trade run to increase ur Trader %. The smarter thing to do is to get to higher level.

wrong higher lvl transport horses do move faster! lol iron clad trade horse can easily out pace a lvl 20 trade horse. I do it allll the time.

i don't think so. i believe all transport horses move @ 4m and all camels + the ox move @ 3m. go check it out at the stable.

The trick is to STAY ON MAIN ROADS.

Thiefs check offroad to catch multistars.

Also, stick with this route:

When you get to 32, then you can take west ferry.

just stay off the road and try to run klike hell when u see a thief change direction alot and the west gate is usually the best
