afk stalling with least resources

what's the least resource hogging way to stall afk in SRO? i know many people stall overnight or do other stuff while stalling (minimized the game), so what's the most efficient setting for doing that? i want to play some other games while stalling :P

usually how much memory usage does it take?

logically, id say the lightest settings for your cpu&graphic
card usage is put all settings on minimum :)

if you have dual core processor.. when i play several games
on my laptop i tend to put sro on 1 core and the other game
on the other ^^

no, sadly i don't have duel core. i only have HT, but they "claim" HT would allow multiple programs to run smoothly at the same time.

I usually turn everything to low, f12, zoom in as far you go, and look at the ground. I can run other games fine and I don't have dual core either.

This is what I do.
Make multi xp accounts
Log on sro to stall minimize it.(and while stalling zoom into char and look at sky helps)
go Start>Log Off>Switch User to the other xp account
Play other game on 2nd xp account.

When I play css on same xp account while stalling in sro...sro would end up not responding...then tried this way and sro would work after I was done with css also saw my ram usage down little bit...hope it helps

put sro into window mode & click out of it, no need to do any f12 or zooming in w/e

to put on 1 core is simpel.
open taskmanager
go to processes
rightclick on sroClient.exe or whatever sro runs on
press affinity
there you have cpu0 and cpu1 with a green checkmark
uncheck one of em and you got it on 1 core :)

dunno what you mean by drawbacks.. is that like lag?
if your cpu is fast enough you can just play it on 1 core.
normally i forget to set my settings from highest to lowest
on sro when i go play the other games lol :) no problemos.

only problem with some games like cs 1.6 the cracked lan
only version i got dont support dual core.. so if i dont run
it on 1 core it looks like i got a speed hacked server -.-

Do this:
while sro is maximized hit Alt+ctrl+Del you'll get the task manager while sro in the back ground and you'll see a green bar on your task bar to the right-down it will be full green as in 100% CPU usage.
keep hitting alt+tab switching between sro and task manager till sro in the background freeze, the game will still running but as long as task manager is up there sro is froozen in the back ground you'll see that the CPU usage is 30% or so then right click over sro task and minimize.
But after that if you want to play the game will be so laggy and you'll need to restart it.

omg! ive never noticed that, since i got 2 monitors, i jst alt tab it, so i can still see whats happening, instead of letting it freeze

just win+alt+enter into window mode, look into the sky and tab anywhere else (browser, desktop, etc) -> sro 0% usage..
