That looking down on lower lvls is inhumane-seriously

yeah lol, its very stereotypical when high levels think tht im annoying noob and ignores me

lvl73, I was nice. But I must agree, some of the people were asses....especially in pvp (this goes especially for the other nukers who shoot fireballs at them continuously).

The difference is that when you answer one little question, you get the next one... give me gold, help me, power level me, can I see your.....

It's easier to ignore the random PMs. That's also why I have my trades turned off.

Same here r0x. Although the one that bugs me is when you run near a dead noob, and they start spamming you to res. Especially if it is the only thing they know to say in english. Cause then you tell em you don't have the skill, and they continue to spam you.

Edit: @Topic starter (can't remember the name lol): If you were in town and they weren't responding, could it have been possible that they were afk? I know I stay logged in sometimes because it is a pain to log on, so I just stand in town, afk.

People who dislike low lvls don't are EGOs.
They only become friends with guys atleast their lvl without knowing if its a botter or not

u try getting to lvl 80 and see if u answer every dam question a low lvl ask u. its already hella annoying getting spammed with exchange that i now play with my exchange turned off. but when ur nice and answer one noob question, it is automatically followed by dozen more question. u help a random noob on a trade run once. they think they can call on u whenever they do a trade and get mad when u dont show. get high lvl and see wut its like before u run ur mouth.

Same thing happened to me.
I was thiefing at the ferries. There were this "Noob" that was grinding at the top of the eastern ferry he then asks for an exchange, but I decline it. I then go all the way down to the ferry and another "Noob" exchanges me.
All of this happened in less than 30 seconds.

Actually, all features of the game are explained in help menu and through guides in forums.
I never ask anyone how to play, what is that... but I find the answer with my own research.
I dont like lazy ppl who cant take care of themself. So dont expect me to answer a noob question.

once i get my som's after farming i bet theyll all talk to me.

If someone asks me stuff... what I do depends on the person. If they seem serious, and seek honest help- I will help them and answer questions. Hell, maybe it means a new friend
If it does turn into "i want a wolf" or "escort me on trade NOW" kind of deal, it is just as easy to ignore that person. Eventually they get the message.

On the other hand, if someone comes up to me spamming a question with bad grammar and spelling and acting like an idiot, I'll ignore them right off the start.

@ OP. Thats the way higher lvls play. mainly because the majority are kids who get a kick out of being imature. Just like when they pk u 24/7 in pvp areas when ur 30 lvls below them.

High lvls are mostly twats. But i beleive most people who play enough and are into the game enough to get to high lvls will most likely be an idot in the game. they start to beleive the game is theres and ur invading them.....

i had someone consently try to trade with me...so i decided to run away
which normally works. but aopn leaving jangan south gate (was there
afte just helping a low lvl guildy trade from dh ).
there was a couple of scrops and archers (pandoras box ).
so i decided to fight.

now as i was fighting the moron came up to me and started to trade me
again while i was fighting, i mean i can handle the mobs but god it was so
anoying. and after wards he had the neve to call me a noob when i told
him to get lost

My way
exchange=disabled (no you dont need bot to disable it)
all chat=99.99% ignore
in whisper:
spam same word=ignore
ask n00b Q's=ignore
ask newb Q's=I try to answer it, cuz I remember my self being one
ask pvp/build advice=I will only give my opinion if the player is within 20 lvl range of my lvl and isnt on my blacklist (this is too much to explain all to a newb)

He said going up to a high level and asking them a question.

He didn't say randomly go up to a high level and start a conversation. Even if he did, what's the difference?

If you have questions then simply read here. Almost everything about this game is written here.

usually when newbs ask questions is 1. ress 2. gold plz 3. can u powerlvl me. so i just ignore all newbs easyer. Have a question find it here pissed because we ignore you, buy a Gt lvl up and kick our ass. until then deal with it

I answer questions, at least the non-annoying ones. Like the newbs trying to find the soldiers at the south gate like the game tells them to when they should be at the other gate. They can't help not knowing that, the game itself is wrong. I take low level traders with me sometimes if I feel like it, unless I want to run as fast as possible. And sometimes if I get bored I'll do a bit of levelling for a newb at the water ghosts or something, I just randomly pick one and ask them if they want me to level them.

Not all high(er) levels are snobs. I'm not exactly high level yet (only 42) but I personally like helping them out. Just don't expect me to, and I might.

Or, when I'm in a cape fight, some 2X comes and kd's me.

Yup. Starts with answering one question, then comes another question, and another... Then they try to add you to friends list and stalk you all around, asking question after question, when you're busy grinding or warring... It gets old really fast.

How to handle qn abt builds, sp gaps, farming,alchemy tt require super long ans BUT they seems very serious and interested to know?

i talked nicely wif high lvl/low lvl ppl when buying in town/grinding and usualli they make fren wif me ...i believe tt if u want others to respect u, respect them in the 1st place
