i never thought that i would even consider stop playing SRO and go 2 wow. but recently ive been bored out of my mind and ive been gettin screwed over a lot. so i made a new char on Xian and thats much more fun already. its been 2 days i already have a lvl 18 with 800 sp, have a guild that we got to lvl 2 in one day, and i have more money then i did on alps. plus the players are more active, nicer, and most speak understandable english.
at any rate. my friend gave me WoW to download with the expansion and an account i could use so i get a free ride so i will be switching between SRO and WoW. i wouldnt want to leave the wonderful community here of course^^

Funny how alot of SRF members are moving to WoW

After much pressure from some of my friends to go try it, I played WOW for 7 days.


If I wanted to play in DisneyLand, Id go there. All the chars look like they could be in the stars of their next movie. Cartoony, handholding, simplistic and babyish. You cant talk to your enemies, it has built in parental controls, PVP has to be agreed to and oh yeah, I hope you love watching the back of your char's head as it walks, walks, walks....and walks some more. You spend all this time trying to figure out skills and what combinations work for you and you barely use them cause you are ALWAYS FREAKING WALKING SOMEWHERE. In the server I played in, there were more NPCs than ppl and they made you talk to nearly every single one.

Ill take good ol smack talking, in your face, involuntary PVP any day.

PS: we got our guild to lv 5 in a few weeks =) (farmers FTW)

bad graphics? wrong. if yr graphic card is good enough to max the game graphic, you will get way much better graphic than sro.

Different graphic style is not the same as bad graphics, its not like there is a standard graphical style from where you can judge upon WoW.

I played for a week or 2 on high graphic settings and they still sucked. I agree with nightbloom.. very cartoony, didnt like the gameplay, too much walking with no grass walk :O

also i know theres a lot of walking and the no grass walkthing always annoys me, i still try to hit my mouse button to gofaster somtimes lmfao.
im fine with the graphics, they dont hurt my eyes so im good, and i enjoy the gamplay a lot. so mainly my only problem is my friends lil bro, who is a real d***. he always deletes my chars out of pure d***ism. they dont affect him in anyway but yet he deletes my work. kinda annoying. im going to download SRO this weekend, and work more on farming my new lvl 18. on Xian. IGN kidney_thief.

only good thing about wow is you can reach the cap in about a month

lol whats the adventure people are looking for in WOW? getting something same as sosun+9 in SRO is way too easy, u just need a good guild...
