Just to add something to this old topic:


Int - damgage extraondianre, power moves + physical skills to take you down.

Some defense skills, but too many crits, too many ppl on u or too much time with a Str up close and ur dead. It takes skill to play em right.


Str user - Take and wait for a crit, u slowly die and can take a lot of dmg.

It is just easier to work a Str player so higher chance of success.

I think Chinese Nukers (Sword/Spear) are prolly the best build so far in the game, followed by Str Swordies.

Euro is another story.

I 1 hit pure int spears, 2/3 hit pure int swords.

I'm lvl 80 full str glavie with 20k hp, pure ints dont have a chance.

im lvl 41 and i havent seen anyone lvl 38-43 besides fellow pure str's that can kill me. 5.8k HP >_> gotta love that equipment with +4str

I've never lost to a pure int unless they were over 5 levels higher than me. While thieving I took out a lv 65 and a lv 62 both nukers, and I was lv 60. It was a huge zerk battle xD

I assure you I can 1-hit just about any str up to lvl 48 because of my weapon. Also, in Tibet, one of my guildies (lvl 55 int sword) managed to zerk-kill a farmed lvl 68 glaive. It all depends how good alchemy the INT has and whether it is farmed or not. Also I've got INT friends who can even tank glaivers their lvl (without KDs) with three pieces of SOS protector, so there is no way a glaive can always beat an INT regardless of equips.
In tibet I used to 1-hit blades my lvl. Not too hard when you have a great wep.

Holy shit, finally someone who understands.

Battles aren't decided by build as much as by who has the SOS/+X equipment. Yeah, if equip/levels are even, str has the advantage.... but it's hardly ever that simple.

I 2 hit a lvl 73 pure str glaiver in garms when I was 64. I zerked and had a 64+5 sword, gg

When I was pure int i guarantee no str 2/3 shotted me, I usually killed them first.

freeze? thats pointless, almost everyone is immune to it.

nukers are strong only on levels 40 below IMO

and yes maybe the gear has something to make the difference

nukers, pure str's, int hybrids, to make it short a whole merchant union against 1 thief(str blader) i dont think even a SoSun nuker would kill this guy. he is h4xoooor

LMAo when you reach cap you can talk again. Pure int IS NOT a 1 v 1 build.
Ridiculous: OMG my pure str owned your int char hahaha.. zzzz - Anyone who cares is stupid.

Hybrid int better at 1 v1 however .. int will never fully be a 1 v 1 build till higher caps. Either way this game will be about team work and not who can solo anything.

Gear plays a huge part. My lvl 80 with 2 pieces of sosun, no str on gear (not kidding no strength at all) Hybrid int (base balance 85%) can pot fight most str's .. most of my gear is +4, +5 shield. Point is with decent gear you make up for not being good in 1 v 1 but at the end of the day its not what you are for. Your role is the damage dealer... live with it.

honestly though.. crits freaking hurt.... dam glaivers...

The secret to pvp isn't a good weapon... It's good equipment

Although a sosun weapon will always own (unless someone has full sosun)

I dont know, im level 72 str and i killeda level 76 int in three hits. So it depends on some things.

I agreee with what people say about equipment and weapons.

It's a mixture of build, equipment and weapons that make a character what it is.

Im a hybrid of sorts. I had was a newbie and sorta put some stuff in INT and some in STR for quite a few levels, not really knowing much about much. Only later did I read guides saying pure *** was better than hybrid. So I started to lvl up STR and left INT alone. Now I am a STR hybrid thing. It works for me.

I also got some decent gear on my back to help. I don't PVP too much, but I do give people 3-5 levels higher than me a either a death, or a very bad scare (then I die).

Anyway, I r0xoR the S0xks of people 10+ levels below me. Still fun ^_^

Well, I wasn't pure int (hybrid int) but I could always kill pure str

Here is the key if your spear. stun and their stunned nuke then phantom walk and nuke, repeat.
