the wind effect

i was wondering after last years easter evet we lost the wind effect. i was wondering are we ever going to get that back?

Ok first, make sure your options in silkroad are what you want them to be, because if you change them after you fix this bug, it will happen again and you will have to start this process over again.
Step 1. Download XVI23 Hex Editor from this site:

Create a directory on your hard disk, e.g. C:\Program Files\XVI32
Unzip the downloaded archive xvi32.zip completely into this directory
Run XVI32.EXE
Step 3. Now that you have XVI32 installed, run XVI32. Once you have the grid-like window open, click File > Open > SROptionSet.
Step 4. Now, don't change ANYTHING except the one I'm abotut to tell you, you might screw silkroad up and god knows what will happen, lol.
Go down 4 spaces, and over 7 spaces. This box should have 00, and the box to the right of it should have 01. Change the box with the 00 to 01 (exactly like the box right next to it.
Sep 5. Once this is done click File > Save. Then open silkroad and your clothes are now wavy again.
PS. The attachment is a screenshot of the box your supposed to change to 01. It should say 00 at first, just change that box AND THAT BOX ONLY to 01.

Now for the easy fix, load the game, set ur desired gfx, quit then when u open the start up thing, click options and set graphics to "Not Change"
Just ignore the xfire convo ^.^

Are you sure that works, I mean the file size shoudl stay the same, right? And have you tried this? And what file do I edit, I want to have a backup of that file?

the wind effect is supposed to have an on and off option in the graphics settings. There is an empty box at the bottom where it is supposed to be but it isnt (its there in ksro i believe). This is basically changing that option from off to on.

Yes i'm 199% sure it works seeing that i did it myself yesterday.. the file u need to edit is in your C:\Program Files\Silkroad\Setting it's called "SROptionSet"

wind effect...haven't missed that one much since it was stopped way back when.
and your softmod setting must mean your bot setting is '01' instead of '00' like the other legits here.

, and i know i can get banned from it so i dont use it :p.
