Bow any good?

I'm thinking about changing my alts weapon (again) to bow.
This is because I'm in love with bow skills, and on my main, when I was lv 4x the only thing that could kill me was bow. Now I own bow though.
I fought a lv 54 pure str bow with sos+7 and I beat him
.
Bow is badass looking, but they supposedly su ck in pvp. Whatever, I'll just kill lower levels.
Discuss.

Depends...
If you like Pvp, I'd say stick with your current weap. Nearly everything is better than bow in pvp. Blades have tanking ability, nukers have nukes, glaives have massive dmg.
If you like PvE, bow wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Bow sucks in pve, lol.
I just wanna be bow because it looks cool and can kill lower levels

Get an sosun bow and youll be fine, crit 10+ is a must too, dam i hate sosun bows.

BOW IS GOOD MAN MAKE IT PURE STR , u will be good , other asholes on thiz fourms think bows suck , but ther pretty good u just gotta try them.
O and almost ther coming out wil new bow skills , so bow will be able to so knockback and stun do get bow.
but this is all a opinion do ur choice

Some people think bows suck because they cant play them in PvP, they stand
there and take a hella lot of damage....why on earth should u stay in one
spot if ure an archer....the secret is move and keep moving until u get 2-3
successive crits.....and then finish off with 4 arrow combo....well if u have
that yet....Imagine when we get the new bow skills....come on less
moving I would have to do with stun and a knock back skill...
Bows are awsome when it comes to PvM

It must just be because I"m int, but that looks terrible.
Bows seem to kill really slowly, but they are praised by str for killing fast.
It took 3 skills for him to kill a power earth ghost, but for glaive it's only 2, as well as for blade...
I don't get it.
Anyways, I'm still gonna be bow.
