So far from what I know all lv70 above drop Sosun items. Starting from Devil Mask Nacha, Diamond Yacha, Devil Eye, Bone soldier on wards. Am I right on this? Anyone got sosun items from those lv 70 and 71 mobs before?

I think he lied. My server Troy fish drop so sosun items but is is deg 7. As for lv 69 to 67 mob. They drop SOM. So far whole SRO only he got a Deg8 bow from Karra. It is quite weird. My friends got few SOM from lv 67 to 69 mob.

You can get sun from penons.

I think you can get 8d sosun from anything that would theoratically drop 9d sos for the current lvl 80 cap probably because joymax mighta programmed what would be 9d sos drop to become 8d sosun drops. I can't really prove that one too well but it would explain some sosun drops.

I found Lv64 Seal of Moon armor gloves and Lv65 Seal of Star talisman on the fish. I don't know but I would assume Lv 70+ monsters drop Seal of Sun because I heard of the cases that people have gotten SoStar and Seal of Sun on Nachals (It would be reasonable because Devil Ghost Nachal is Lv69 and Devil Mask Nachal is Lv70 which are located at the same training area).

You are right. Devil Ghost Nacha lv 69 drop SOStar and SOM. Devil Mask Nacha drop Sosun because it was 70. So I guess only all those mob that is lv70 and above drop Deg8 Sosun. I guess this is already proven.

i heard mobs can drop 1 or 2 (?) degrees higher or lower (SoX) items...

Im thinking of farming at lvl 69 and ill farm nachals. But i want to have the chance of getting sosun. (Ill farm about 100k sp)

Has anyone gotten sosun drops from Nachals? =)

ye dude on venice first sosun drop was a sosun sword remember!?! that was alucard16 and he got from devil mask nachal. good luck.

all the 70 + drops are sun, that explains why we see so much 8 dge sun, right ?

I heard yetis can drop 8D sos items...

They wont even drop me a nice 60 glaive so i dont know how true it is. (I did get a lvl 60 sword yesterday though with 90% mag attack...)

yes 100% true, guildmate got 8d sos spear form devil yeti.

LOL every monster that drops 8th degree can drop you sox 8th degree. But yes penons and Yeti's have been known to drop 8th degree sox also.

Best drop rate for sox is at earth ghost warriors/snipers/hunters

I found a sosun item drop from snipers/hunters area

I heard a union mate got his sosun at ghost warriors/soldiers. I guess it starts dropping from caves

Ever wondered why there are so many 8th Deg SoSuns and so few SoM? Shouldnt Sun be the rarest Just a though...

Mobs my buddies have gotten Sosun 8d from:

Niya Mage - 2 sosun weapons, 1 sosun shoulder, 1 sosun garment pants
Sniper - 7 sosun pieces [clothing], 3 weapons

hmmm I'm going to have to start feeding worthless junk to pets I see running around takla so they can't pick up the good stuff

techincally you can get a sosun drop from any mob. my friend got a level 57 [i forgot the level] sos chest from bunwangs.

That statement about Xian regarding SoSUN 64 bow from Fish (65 - Takla) is - TRUE.

SoSUN 8D is commonly found in Takla-Makan, and not seen that much from other monsters in Cave.
I also heard someone in Xian found an SoSUN 64 Blade from the Devil Eye, which is lvl70-71.
