Being a merchant

Ok a merchant gets profit by buying cheep in Jangan then going to Donwhang or Hotan to sell higher to get profit right?

So, after a successful trade run, where do you sell the items? To the shops in Donwhang, or to other ppl who buy for more money?

Also, when profit is made and you are in Donwhang, how do you make a profit again? Do you have to go all the way back to Jangan to get the items then come back to Donwhang to sell?

Sorry if I'm not clear, I'll explain again. Its just that I'm new to trading based rpgs :)

No you can just buy items in DW from a merchant dealer and go back to Jangan. Or for more GOld making take it to Hotan!!! and if you get to Hotan, buy items there and bring them all the way to Jangan then you ge payed a lot. also watch out for the star lvl or your trade. when you get to 2 stars other thiefs can attack you! lvl 1 trade only lets spawned thiefs attack you

You can buy goods from any city's trade shop and take it to any other city's trade shop and always make a profit regardless of direction (JG<-->DW, DW<-->Hotan, JG<-->Hotan).

you make more money if you go to jang, to dw
sell in dw, reload and go to hotan

than just going all the way without stopping.

If you're doing a 1* beware of thieves. However Thieves can't attack a 1* traderun their NPC's can. imo that's very pathetic

Jang  Donw = 387%
Jang  Hotan = 684% i think

When you bring stuff into city you need open stall and see if someone will buy it.

Dont do trades you can make more money by grinding and selling elements !

Pardon?

I guess you have never traded before.

If you can make the trip from Hotan to DW with no problems, going to Jangan is pointless except for a change of scenery. The most money is made in the least amount of time going back and forth from Hotan to DW.

By the way, the % change when more people start selling those items to the npc.

Ah, thank you very much. So you make a profit as long as you go from city to city regardless of direction.

So you sell it to the NPC people and they will buy for higher price right? thanks a lot

plz remeber u CANT make much profit doing trade unless its a 2 star above (which is risky and u can lose $$ any time unless again u r high lvl)

its always fun to trade 1 star in ur early lvl 20+ wif 1 or 2 frens of same lvl to try it out...its for the FUN not the profit and by doing 1 star, all u can lose is not a Huge amt of gold...ur fren and u can look out for each other when NPC thief spawn as well...

Actually trading from Jangan to Donwhang and then from Donwhang to Hotan is almost the same money. Sure, the %s stack but you must consider that buying the goods again on another town means 100% less profit. But you must also consider that sometimes selling before to have a partial profit is safer than going Hotan -> Jangan and get popped or robbed at the end.

well you know, the shortest distance between two points is a bunch of hyphens lol.
Btw the % changes randomly, I don't think it has anything to do with other people selling the same goods because that would be hard to program the game to keep track of. Fill up with as many different types of items as you can to guarantee a more average amount. Or you can go for broke and invest all in one type of item for the trade and hope that one's higher than normal.
