Hi,
there are 10% , 20% and 30% or 30+% (i had a 35% one after destroying an item). Most ppl just want 10% stone but dont know why. I heard many stories.
1. Say my sword got 0 INT, and i wanna add INT stone , which one shud i use? 10,20 or 30% stone? Here ppl say to use 30% one, coz there's no INT on the item yet. So start with 30% one.
2. And If an item already got 50% INT, and i wanna add more INT. Ppl say go for 10% one. True?
Anyone know???

go with 10%...you don't want an assimilation of any other attributes on your items except for the one u want modified

yea..and then once i got str from 25% to 100% ..but the phy% or mag% (cant remember) absorbsion on my ring go to 0% from 48%, i dont get it.
So is that mean, the 10,20,30% assim on the stone == changes the state on other attributes?
30% will do a greater changes than 10% once the attributes changes??

30%s are not 'fakes'
they do have a higher chance of assimilating other stats
I generally use 10%s on gear that has great stats already, and only wish to change the % of whatever the stone is changing
i will sometimes use 20%s when i'm desperate.
30%s I will only use when I actually want something else to be assimilated. This is good for: item with high ++ but junk stats, sos with junk stats, or an item with lots of junk blue stats and such...
and @ singhost
there are 5%, 15%, 25% stones also..
and don't forget the 0% for steady, immo and astral stones

in my experience with stones...stones with highest assimilation (30%) seem to succeed more often than stones with lower assimilation (10%)...

i dont care what people say
i use them all because even on 10% people have gotten bad luck with crit and other things going to 2 or whatever.
and ive gotten llucky with alot of 30% ones, but thats just me.

i use all of them. Why does everyone think assimilation is bad? Its the same as using another stone, it has a chance of increasing or staying the same as well as going down.

im all for 30%.
they work more often than 10 or 20% and they cost 10-60k less.

Depends on % of the item.
If the %'s are bad, I use 30-35%.
You could always get lucky.
If its like crit 14, phy 90%. I use 5% or 10%.

The lower the number the higher probiblity that it will work. If you get a 30% stone then expect it to fail.

i agree with this actually, i succeed much more with 10% stones.
but its also true that 30% has more of a chance of assimilating.

out of all the times ive used stones for blue stats, none have assimilated yet so i dont even really care about what % it is.

it's all a dam gamble, the % just shows you your odds, so use the % to ur advantage & dont always buy low % stones
