i will give up on silk for awhile. because i will use $30USD per month to sponsor a child in poor country thru world vision.
I rather use my money on something meaningful than stupid silk.
$30USD per month and make a difference for a poor child (clean water, better education...)
$30USD on silk just cant even get my weapon to +7... sick

If people spent as much as they do on silk and gold for starving people
places like Ethiopia would be a kingdom.

Wow.
Just wow.

Let me guess, your democratic?

Well, here is a news flash for you.
Unless you on a public library computer, your probably spent anywhere between 500 and 2000 dollars to buy that computer. And you pay monthly for internet service. All of this money could go "help poor kids with aids and no legs and 1 arm foundation". But insted it is buying you porn, silkroad, and a variety of internet things.

Democrats help alot of people ya know.

humm, so youre going to give up silk until you have solved all of the

worlds problems relating to poor and starving children.....If youre going

to start, dont stop. Cuz by what you said it seems like you only going to

do it until your conscience tells you its ok to stop..

I dont know how they (world vision) feed children on $1 a day, but ive looked into it...apparently they do. I wish i could live off of $1 a day

Sounds like a better investment to me.
feeding a kid+boycotting silk= win

Edit:
Masterchief: I am republican, i understand what you are saying about that democrat bullshit, but that doesnt mean that we shouldn't contribute to poeple. World vision is a christian organization made specifically to fund children around the world. it is non-profit. I have done fundraising for them myself. They arnt trying to get anyones money, they are not run by crazy-ass-i-have-10-houses rich people...

But dont get me wrong, im not trying to preach to anyone, im just voicing my opinion.

Edit #2: In order to prevent flames:

when i say "democrat bullshit" i dont mean all democrats think that way, im just saying that's a democrat concept. "we need your money for taxes to fund the non working people" is thought up by rich democrats who want more money. (although the republicans are getting that way too)

but lets stay on subject. and not get into political flaming.
Boycott silk.

yes, but read my edit #2 above. Those concepts are generally pushed for by democrats. not saying that all democrats are like that. but in general the democrat leaders are.

One of the main points of the Democratic Party is giving back to the poor. I dont see how this doesnt relate. And where did I say "everyone that has some democratic views is extremly democratic. No where. I have some on both sides, but more go towards the Republican Party.

LittleTom,

I'm not saying giving is a bad thing. But what this kid is talking about is very contridictary.
