Silkroad dropped to 9 on Xfire's top 10 most played games, down from its usual 7. I think the game is dying. Discuss.

Maybe its because people have done what ive done. I told xfire that i dont have silkroad installed so it dosnt look like i have no life when i stall and have a playtime of 100+ hours a week.

EDIT: screw it, im gonna put it back in! long live silkroad!

unfortionatly it is dieing. :( thats cuz joymax doesnt do a freaking thing about all the hackers and botters. ill bet they take all the money they get from the international version and make the ksro version better. they prolly dont give a crap about the internationaly version. why do u think it took them so long to get the lvl gap to 80? and they still dont have the 9th degree stuff out :banghead: :x

If more people leave it would make me happier.

By the way people keep posting these SRO is failing topics by the summer the servers will be clean and me and a few people will have an updated iSRO game with easy access.

Yes I agree, SRO is dieing, leave, go, go  Addiction  .

If you guys have not noticed, whenever were close to a big update people always get pissed off and leave and threaten to sue JM or something like that.

What does this mean? New updates and a cleaner server, 8) lets do this shit.

Umm if it is dying why is it so freaking hard to get in.. seems pretty alive for me. I don't know anyone who uses this xfire thing.. i don't either so it isn't really a good judge .. now is it..

Its the weekend, people have more time to play FPS's (people idle RPG's doing the week, which boosts #'s), therefore silkroad goes down and games like CS and BF go up.

dy·ing 1. ceasing to live; approaching death; expiring: a dying man.
4. drawing to a close; ending: the dying year.

die·ing –verb (used with object)
5. to impress, shape, or cut with a die.

died, die·ing, dies
To cut, form, or stamp with or as if with a die.

:P Nothing was mispelled. :P

I don't know why you people are happy that less people play. It means less traffic but it also means if joymax can't make $$$$....there is no SRO. WoW #s are insane -_-

+1. The only reason sro is on that list is because of 24/7 stallers and botters.

When you say dying, you mean like how i can't log in from 12 at night until 2 the next day kind of dying? You know, people might just not run xfire while they play nowadays.

how hard is it to understand that he meant people are quitting the game and it will fade away like a lot of other games (e.g. bf1942 -- people are only buying it for its mods, the game itself is dying)

Yeah, I bot so Xfire won't pick up playing time with the modified client...

But SRO will never die, more servers will come out, yada yada yada.
Also the 9th Degree Skins are in your media.pk2 files...extract them and take a look
