Was in DW the other day and checked a stall and found this bow....lvl 16+3 sos with 100% cirt Stall price of 15m....I got her to drop it to 13m at least....first elixir got it to +4 =) put astral and immortal on it but it failed =( o well....anyways heres it is.

try to fix the phy attack and add str

I wouldn't bet on that not assimilating. I just had the worst alch luck ever so yea. Took my +5 SOS glaive and tried to make it +6 with astral and immortal on it. Went down to +4, lost immortal and astral. Then tried to change attack rating, lost my Int - went from +4 to +1 and gained nothing on attack rating. Then tried to change my physical attack value, failed, then tried to change my crit, failed again. Worst luck ever. What sux even more is that almost all the stats are at 0%. I paid very little for it, and I can see why... it's just plain old unlucky. So watch that assimilation. And yea, that ruby tablet took away my blue Int addition so it can assimilate to anything it wants.

most of the sos 16 bows are near that price now...
stupid inflation... I have a 12 crit sos one myself that i'm farming with... it's already pretty awesome seeing it crit so much

If you can one hit archers crit is pretty much useless unless you like to pvp. Good luck trying to pimp the bow without assimilating the crit =D

that's true... when people talk about 1 hitting archers, it's usually without considering the crit.

which is another reason why i'm attacking bandits so I can make full use of the high crit

crit doesn't matter, and if u are a str hero no point wasting money on getting the sos bow more then +3. cus doesn't matter how much dammage u can make it do, it'll still take u two shots w/ imbue to kill an archer. int chars are different story.

i farmed with an sos +0 bow crit 3 that i got for 3.5mil.

i 2 shotted everything.

theres no reason to pay an extra 10 million when you can 2 shot it with a naked bow.

criticals nice though, but id usually critical with antidevil ...which ironicaly takes 2 shots long to fire.


i say i win.

3.5mil > 13mil

I had a 60+5 glavie I bought with 12 crit... I used a attack rating stone and it didn't add any and after a while I noticed that it had changed my crit from 12 to 2 </3 I was so pissed.

Not that expensive??? On Olympus they run 40-50m +

50m is expensive IMO.

well its really all depends, im gonna farm over 100k+ sps so i think its worth it but if u just gonna farm a lil then its not worth it,

it differs by weapon, lowest crit for blades is 1, for glavies and bows is 2, swords is 3 and spears is 4

sos adds 1 , so lowest crit for sos bow would be 3

I have crit 12 without a stone and it's like -%70 %80 or sumtin like that. I'll post a SS when I'll be able to log on

Dont need som to 1 shot with a pure str, i have a pimped garm set and accesories set on xian, with an sos+7 16 bow and i can 1 shot as a str lol >_>

with normal arrows+ imbue that is, no crit.

if only all bows had such crit

The max damage range on a sos+7 16 bow is what? A clean som 16 bow has around 162-195 mag range. A som bow +2 has a mag damage range of 179-213 at (0%). And a sos +5 bow has around 163-190. So sos +7 should be around the som +1 or +2 mark depending on the mag %. However, even if the mag damage is the same there is a ~4% higher phys reinforce and ~8% higher mag reinforce on a som bow.

Even with pimped out gear I can't see you 1 hitting archers unless you have delvled beforehand. It's possible with a som+3 16 bow, but anything less I'm not sure about. Can you provide a screenie of the stats of the bow and you 1 hitting an archer?
