is there a way to turn bad charms into good ones or something? i think i remember someone saying there was...so if you know pls tell me. or even if there isnt, if you know any tricks to make the process go faster, id appreciate it (i absolutly hate the ravine! they killed my wolf today), so i want to spend as little time with the earth taoists/magicians as possible.

Keep trying.
The whole point is to make it seem like a faster quest then it really is.

i usually just stocked like 300-400 since you need to get 100, then i banked everything and started right clicking a lot

Depending on my mood I either let it stack a fair number (like 150) or right clicked right after picking them up (keeping the inventory window open). The second option was faster because I could keep hunting while transforming the charms I picked up.

How many times do you have to do that one? I suffered through it twice already and I'm dreading doing it again. I moved on to other quests now but I was considering going back to finish that one tonight.
RE: wolf dying in the ravine, I had that happen twice. Eventually I just found a good spot away from any gunpowders and a managable amount of taoists/magicians, and just made sure I aggro'd the mobs off of my dog. A harmony circle helps when it gets low on HP also.

The charm quest is one of the most annoying ever. The only ones which annoyed me even worse were the 1k flower hunts. I'd say skip the taoist charm quest.

Pet pots sounds better than wolf pots.

Yeah, I have a whole pack of xL pots, it's nice at my level since one pot will almost completely restore him. I just meant in the Ravine I had to pay even more attn than usual to his HP bar, a lot of times I can't tell if the taoists are attack me or him when he's next to me, and sometimes I wouldn't even SEE what was attacking him because of their range. Once I completely overlooked it until he died. Second time some stupid 5X trader came into the dead-end section of the ravine spawning NPC thieves that killed us both while I was trashing a taoist giant. I was so mad about that, I had that giant almost dead on my own and was killed when my light splash dmg hit the NPC thief running by, so it came and hit me and my dog instead.
Since then I pay closer attn to his HP bar in the Ravine.

thnx guys! so there isnt any:( how disappointing.
but i guess i could skip, but grinding just gets on my nerves and when i do a quest i fele like at least im aiming at something instead of just killing monsters endlessly. and as for harmony therapy, i dont have it, so i just unsummoned my wolf:P but it slows down the killing process since im a pure str blader

Well, the only thing I could suggest to make it a bit easier is to go to the dead-end area of the ravine. There are only earth taoists, magicians, and ghosts down there, so no dealing with gun powders that will eat up your pills with their status effects, and you can reasonably rest and take a break there, plus there is a decent spawn rate. I just go to that spot, collect about 120 charms or until I run out of pots, and then scroll back to town to clear my inv and check the charms. That way you can NPC off the bad ones immediately and not have them clogging your inv. I so wish those charms auto-stacked when you right clicked them.
In all the quest isn't THAT bad, just the fact you have to do it multiple times is retarded.

oh you cant put 99 good ones in your storage like in the gun powder quest?
