Controlling the potion market

idk if this would work, but it would be quite clever
get your guild/union together and buy 100000's of potions hp and mp
let 3 (or more if needed) of your guild/union guys AFK on a firebull ontop of the 3 herbalists in the game.
after a while everyone will run out of pot's, they want to grind again.
but since all 3 herbalists can't be clicked (because 3 asses are AFK'ing ontop of them) they cannot buy pots.
now open stalls around the herbalists and sell potions with a 500 - 1000% profit.
would it work?

Maybe, but you would be a prick to do that, and probably be on several people's blacklist after that.

it happened in venice once, at hotan. chatbox turned into a flamefest.
You won't get famous by being an ass. only House can do that.

You can get to the potion vendor by using the arrow keys... it's actually more annoying if you set a bunch of stalls around the potion vendor because the mouse cursor becomes the stall cursor instead of the NPC speech bubble cursor... I have found myself clicking on the stall more times than the npc in that case.
either way, it's been done numerous times on greece and those people just get hated more. and chances are you won't be able to sell all the potions you bought because it's not a 'limited resource'
besides, pots aren't really THAT expensive of a resource to try to control the market with.
but seriously if you tried this multiple times, everyone would hate your guild and union. and that's really not the point of

No idea if it'll work, maybe people can't access the potion npc, but if they're pissed enough they rather sit and regenerate than buying your potions. Kind of an ass thing to do.

Clever my @ss. This is one of the freakingly retarded ideas I've ever heard. And you call it "clever?" How old are you btw? This idea is very impolite to other players, as well.
Plus, this will NEVER stop me from buying potions. Just move your character close the potion seller, zoom your camera all the way into you. Because the transport animals, fire oxes in this case, are empty inside of them, you should be able to click the potion seller without any difficulty.
If you think you can earn gold with this method, I'm sorry to say, you are worse than a scammer.
At least some scammers are not retarded...

I parked my thief camel (yes, thief camel in dw) on top of the trader guy where you get the trade items from and went afk for 3 hours

I'd laugh if some1 did it once. I mean, if someone was there all the time, it'd be so annoying, but once would be funny. To do it effectively though, 3 bulls is not enough. At least 5 or so, and stalls surrounding the herbalist too.

There's no way to block any NPC from someone who knows how the camera works. But you can piss off a lot of noobs. It's kind of retarded to actually do for an extended period.

Sure, most ppl know how to work the camera. But if you do it right, they'd get too frustrated to even care anymore and just go ahead and cave in. Not o mention, the new players in JG and DW will cave in sooner.

honestly if u are riding a fire ox (lvl 60+) and you need to sell potions to get rich, u have serious issues xD
