Woke up this morning went to log in and got the account blocked screen

blocked until the 20th for.... are you ready for this... Spamming!!

Anyone else having a lovely morning?

At very least they could email you and show you some proof.

Where is the signup sheet for boycotting silk?

Maybe I should just go outside and investigate what that bright light is out there..

Seeing I have bought one pack of globals this month I would see this as quite the accomplishment... I think they just needed to clear off some room for the bots during the event.

At least its a very short ban. Don't go and try to find out why exactly you got banned, or they will make it a permanent ban.

Already did. Sent one bug report and made one forum posting seeing there were others banned the same way overnight. They make it perminant and I file theft and fraud charges Monday morning when I get to work. Regardless of anything else deprivation of properties for any length of time including game enhancements payed for in currency is considered an offence. Judges in Alberta take fraud and white collar crime seriously. Someone has to remind Joymax that they need to follow the laws of every Country they invade not just the ones the servers are in.

I work for the Calgary Police Service up here in the great white north

But regardless I have now witnessed first hand the way Joymax treats its customers. Call it a free game if you like but a judge isn't going to listen to that. If and when I get my character back on I will be stalling all the gear I collected for sale and giving the gold to my guild. Then I will be leaving. I have som / sos Bow (at least one of each) for 2D to 7D with an sos +7 bow and a +5 bow at eight Deg. as well as sos Garm suits from 3rd degree to 8th with the higher degree's having almost full blue.

The saddest part though is I was just starting to get involved with the community behind the game. I have met some great people in game and in forums like these. GL to you all

Well lets see how they like the chargeback and Court order for their logs. They might be able to fleece the masses in their forums but having their accounts locked due to a fraud investigation will certainly get someones attention

Nope, not neccesary. I am already hip deep in this crap. I will be heading into work and filling out the charge form to be filed this afternoon. We will also apply to have joymax paypal account frozen. Wish me luck.

I have worked my butt off in this game to get my Hyb Bow farmed to where it is. But if it can be taken away with no notice, recourse or due diligence it suddenly seems like a waste of time. Not to mention I have supported the game for a year now at 300USD a month between my characters.

This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Of all the problems plaguing SRO, they chose to ban someone for SPAMMING!!!!!! What's worse, they banned someone for spamming ERRONEOUSLY!!!!! I'm a bit biased because not only are we guild mates, but we're good friends.......we are on most of the time at the same times.....and I've never seen any evidence of spamming......

It would be nice if JOYMAX took the same interest in other areas that REALLY affect the game and they're customers........like maybe the bots that infest every inch of the game........the inflated economy created as a result of the rampant botting.......and not to mention those of us that have been hacked.........were was JOYMAX when I lost everything despite being extremely cautious about passwords????

I think it's safe to say that throughout the period we have been playing SRO (almost a year now), SirShadowCat, I and the rest of our guild collectively have spent a few thousand DOLLARS on premium services......for being a free game, we sure have spent alot of money........we're good customers, we follow the rules, yet we receive absolutely no customer service........and get banned for no reason to boot.......were is the justice in the world.....

Who's running JOYMAX anyways......????? Kim Jong Il?????? Please stop the repression.......JOYMAX, do the right thing for once.......

Well...at least it wasn't a big wall of text. But still they DO need to take care of things that impact the players other then making pointless bans, yet posting it here well...won't get you anywhere really.
