yes as you can see ifinished my first trade without dieing and my trade died twice (ICOULD AVOID THAT but igot lost once and ionly bringed 10 PETPOts)

heres my tips so that no doesnt do same mistakes:
1.wolf is useless in trades ilost mine in this trade it died(and ihad to pay 50k to get it back not wrth it)and any way you wont be fighting alot on the trade

2.when you are at jangans side of the ferry killevery single thieve and monster that gets near ur trade but when you go the other side just get on ur horse you will get down from it once(its atight place with alot of chkjis just to clean the chakji)

3. use horses because you will need speed in ur trades(to avoid monsters)

4.avoid high lvl traders

5. take the red route from this pic its the easiest only one diffcult place(the one which you out of the road 2chakji respwans and 2 devil buy kill them first THEN GET ON UR HORSE and continue the way)

thats all ihave always try trading when servers are populated to get the best profit and avoid meeting other higher lvl traders

'Bout all I agreed with was taking Western Ferry and avoiding higher level traders. Meh. I'm a thief. I rob you for a living. Horses make me emo, less profit for me (and you, if you make it). Never really seen where a horse vs a camel stopped someone from being popped/killed/whatever, that little bit of speed hasn't made any difference. ;s

wow you;ve never popped before or something?
i have NEVER been popped succesfully by a thief when i have a horse. Here a perfect scenario...i'm 39...theif is lvl 52. he tries to pop me...so he's follwing me with his horse....his horse just can't catch up. He spawns his thieves but they attack his horse. but he's still trying...and failing eventually he just gives up...when we are reaching the bridge to jangan. He tried to pop me from tiger mountain. He failed. and to top it all off...while he was busy killing his theives some lvl 64 hunter shot him dead. On overall pleasant evening.

So as a fellow trader...always use a horse.

the only time this method fails is if a thief has a scout (like me :D) and they prepare the pop before you come near...in this scenario just go the other way and again you won't get popped...

Even with a scout many times it is possible to just run right past the thieves horse when there are no NPC spawns on it. By the time they get a spawn your horse will be past the thief. I HAVE been popped on horse so it is possible, but usually I can get past the popper. You just have to look at the situation carefully.

For example, I had just crossed the bridge in Jangan, heading to jang. There was a white horse thief waiting there. Knowing I had no place to turn back to at the choke point, I just ran ahead toward Jangan. The thief followed but his horse couldn't catch up with mine, and I walked into the gate horse alive.

Another time, I started down the path to the ferry, where you are walled in on both sides. I had a fireox thief to the side of me, so I just ran past him, he couldn't catch me. But I was blocked by a white horse thief from the ferry man. There was a high chance he'd spawn on me before I could cross, I was boxed in. So I had to turn back and run, and I made it to the other ferry and completed my trade w/o problem.

However, when I ran camel, if you see a popper you might as well just terminate the transport and take off your flag, because you WILL NOT get past them. I lost soo many trades with camel, the extra money you make on them wasn't worth losing 3 out of 5 trades.

Well IMO anyone can make a traderun at lvl20. Just wait till it's night and all the little popper kiddies go to sleep, then take out a horse or camel and start trading.

After a long time without being popped, I just was. Sad.

It's worse when it's an obvious bot that does it. *sighs*

no offense if your only level 20 and this is your first time, your hardly in a point to give out tips

i would take a longer route then that and do your first try at 25 as you can kill all mobs on the route with ease
