i am currently a lvl 37 hybrid INT sword&shield, mag. balance of 85% with nothing on....i already have lvl 20 hueskal (for passive HP increase)

Current mag balance with gear=95%

since my mag. balance is so low, should i change to spear since it does more damage than sword??

also, with hueskal i could have stun, knock-back, and jump down moves....even tho my MAIN attacks will still be nuke.....is stun+knock-back+jump down move BETTER THAN kd+stab+denfense of shield???

Keep your current build, kick ass at high levels.

If your magic balance is low...add lots of int to your gears . I think my naked balance is around 80, and i have it over 100% with gears on (not sure what naked balance is for sure). Im also s/s and prefer it over spear. Gotta love the knockdowns and blocks.

I have a lvl 80 on Greece naked balance is 85%. I can tank full strengths very easy but i do have two pieces of sosun. I think my damage sucks though. 4/5 int on everything got my balance up to 101 i think.

I can hardly kill anything but i hardly die unless of course gang raped. It is impossible for me to say for sure if my damage would have continued to suck because i had a 9 gap but i can't imagine doing enough damage with zero gap that would ensure favourable damage/outcome against a glaiver or blader. I would recommend spear if you're gonna go 85% or lower. Sword and shield for 89/90% is fine though i think.

Change now, because with a 85% bal s/s your not gonna kill much.

If you want to switch to spear go ahead, but there is no reason to.

I have a lvl 47 sword hybrid that has very similar balance to yours and does fine in pvp, and grinding. Just make sure that you keep your physical skills maxed as well as the magic trees.

Mine didnt get strong until lv 42. Dont know why.

s/s won't kill anything as a hybrid. PURE int only s/s = ownage... hybrids use spear

Spears are all beautiful so just change to spear now dammit

i'm hybrid int too..with a +7 spear..%83 mag balance naked..%102 with gears..heuksal passive max and %100 hp on me..i'm very good at pvping full str glaviers..flame wave burning+ soul spear soul or ghost spear mars kick ass..believe me

Use Spear... And make sure you keep ur mag balance (naked) max 85%... if not you will have a low HP. And add int as much as you can into ur gears.... For me protector is best for hybrid char.

I think you will like Hybrid int nuker from now on....

i changed from blade to glaive at level 67.

I started as a blade. Then lvl 27-52 i was a bowman, with fully farmed pacheon and an amazing +7 bow.
Now im a glavie guy with part farmed glavie skills.

Yeah its alittle weird when knockdown crits harder than my nuke, but so what.

If you just want to nuke get a spear. You will grind slightly faster( 1 nuke=death VS. 2 skills)but thats true with pures as well.

I would say wait till lvl 42 when you get your new weapon and then decide.

Or grab a spear and start nuking, its really just personal preference.

I'm a lvl48 hybrid int s/s (every lvl 1str and 2int),
i think its a good build, at low lvl u'll be weak but if u are high the difference between u and a pure int wont be big.
my hp: 3.8k
my mp: 4.8k

phy balance: 71%
mag balance: 85%

i kill 3 lvls higher mobs in 1 nuke (that is 60% of his hp) + the second book of the knock downs...

well you always have a choice of keeping sword skills and getting spear skills. this way you could be superior in pve and pvp. your build sorta brings you down though i guess.

yes, hybrid int s/s hardly kills because it wont due with enough dmg to kill before die , at least that was my experience with it, and i was hybrid int s/s till lvl 53

Some people dont find the damage reduction acceptable as a hybrid sword. Of course you gain hp to offset your reduced damage, and you also crit higher.

If you think you dont do enough damage go spear, but i really sugest waiting till lvl 42 with a new weapon before you dlvl your sword skills.

*note*as a hybrid int you still do a lot more damage than a pure str.

Also you can easily increase your balance over the next levels by just adding only int pointswhen you level.
Many people think that a 90-100% magic balance is best for sword, and 78-100% for spear.
