Its happend to me before when i had a throughbred with a 1 star amount of goods. A lvl 42+ player theif just came up and killed me somehow? And lastnight i watched as a lvl 42 pwned like 4 traders with camels....(not sure if they were 1 star but i bet they were)

I thought you can only pop to bring down 1 star....

you can only pop to bring down 1 star -_-

.. and killing 1* or whatsoever has nothing to do with levels, so him/her being 42+ has nothing to do with it.

npc thief with a level 42 weapon?

so you guys are saying you've never been attacked by a high lvl theif while doing a 1 star trade and died with no popping involved? maybe glitch in the system but its happend twice to me. there has to be more to it than that....maybe level 3 theif can attack 1 star traders?

No they can't, if you're sure it was a thief attacking you, while you're certain you had a 1*, it was a NPC thief.

you have never been attacked by any player thief when you are 1 star. ok? you havent.

lol no im positive it was a player theif in their 40's and i was lvl 30. just ran up to me and killed me......how, i dont know but i was mad

That would be called murder thieving. It's usually done on bot traders with one star. You attack the transport of that trader until its hp goes down. Dont kill it let npc thiefs kill the transport. Just bring its hp down and let the npc thiefs and other monsters surrounding it kill the transport. Once the transport is dead, take the loot

yea it wasnt a player i garuntee it....as well as a couple hundred other people will.

Unless he murdered you, it wasn't a player.

But he said it was a player thief, and if you're wearing a thief suit you're not supposed to even be able to murder 1* traders.

Could this be another exploit like this one?

never happened in kSRO but u get killed by mobs in kSRO
always in iSRO but u never get killed by mobs in iSRO

guys i wouldnt lie to you i swear. the theif was going to pop me with his white horse. but his theives didnt even get to spawn, he just ran up to me and attacked me.....i had 1 piece of silk in my throughbred. and i watched him take my stuff....wish i woulda took a screenshot now....

This reminds me of another post, he kept saying that someone was "sleeping" popping back up, killing him in cape, then "sleeping". And no one could attack him.

Next time get fraps/screenshots.

It was an NPC thief.

If your transport got killed somehow , a player thief could kill you with out penalty cause you don't have transport.

Well i was theiving today and had 1 star and got killed by traders 32+ and we all had transports.

Basically the same thing that happend to me before but only backwards this time....i was the theif.

Thieves can be killed at any time,regardless of star, by hunters or traders.
Traders can't be killed by a player thief if they are one star. I think you might've been one star popped, and saw the player thief and thought he killed you, where as his npc thieves actually killed you.

1* traders can not kill thieves.

You sure you had a caravan? Only way a thief can just kill you like that is if you're running around with a trader flag on with no caravan.

positive i had caravan. throughbred with 1 piece of silk at the time.
