Silkroad Tournaments??

Ive been reading some gaming websites on and off, and ive noticed a few stories about this new arena thing in WoW, and their holding tournaments, and actually adding a competitive aspect to the game. Has there ever been anything like this for silkroad? If there was what were the rules, how was it ran, and any other info you have id highly appreciate. Even if it was just a small tournament that a few players put together for fun, it would still be interesting to know.

Well a long time ago there was some world champion tournament, the winners got an sos+8 weapon lol.

Wrong, winners were cuchulain and NightV, they got prizes and money but no sos+8
People that got sos+8 were people that left a cheer message on the website. in fact u only had to spam that chat box to get an sox >.>

Well I just remember seeing a few winners on the website, one of them being exdos, a botter, and they all got sos+8 weapons.

How was the tournament ran, as in like levels, skills, equips??

Yep.
To get a sos weapon you had to leave a cheer message in a chat box. I didnt think so but in fact u only add to spam. At first some people even won 2 weapons -.-
The more you posted the more chance u had to win. Another JM good idea =)

They had to go in korea, they met GMs so no they couldnt bot

Well i think they started at lvl 0 with a certain amount of SP and a certain amount of stat point. So they add HP or MP like they want till lvl 80, and their skills/buffs
they had to fight in caves or something. It was PvP 2vs2
cuchulain won with an hybrid int 2:1 spear if im right. And NightV was...drunk
(im serious)

I will be holding hide and seek competitions on pacific when I get back on. Just need to good prizes and some more globals
Held an In union one last week the winner got 70k (chose from 2 prot elixirs or 70k) so its not to shabby.

Im pretty sure cuchulain was 2:1...
EDIT : yeah cuch was 2:1 andnightv was 1:1 but like i said he was drunk during gng lol
