Why archer are weak in PvP ? ='(

Can somebody can answer to this ? =O
Why archer suk in PvP...
Its bad cause an archer build is cool heheh =D !
1-you lvl up fast
2-you made amazing crit
3-you pimped at lvl 64 with the big bow XD !
But WHY THEY SUK IN PVP AAAAHH

bladers have a shield thats why they are tanking
glaivers have their glaive passive
but the only thing archers have is thier good crits if ur lucky enough u may b able to kill ur own lvl with 2 good crits.

Archer don't "suck" at all ;p, they just have less of an advantage in 1on1.

Archers are too slow. Their big hits take too long to get off.
I've seen an archer vs. a blader and it didn't come down to who had the better build, it came down to who hit the fastest. By the time the archer got off a really big shot, the blader had done a 5-hit chain + KD.
Not to mention they just don't hit hard enough for someone with no shield. At least glavies and spears hit hard.

Archers are pretty good because of their crits but are pretty much nerfed anyways. I think they should get a unique skill, even if it has to be something like an attack speed buff, knockback, extra speed/teleport/ghostwalk skills, anything to make up for the lack of shield/stun

The new skill is called Double Shot. And Pacheon will be the only weapon mastery to receive a new skill series. Wait for it in future updates (maybe before the end of spring if we're lucky).
Relying on crit is lame. It's like counting on an equipment box to drop when you want it to.

So I don't consider having a higher crit a good advantage over other classes.
Isn't it unfair how nuker skills are so powerful yet they only waste about the same amount of MP as Antidevil? And not only that, they also launch faster than Antidevil. >__>

Too true >_> I love my new STR Archer but heck I find myself getting owned by every class. Even nearly pure INTs can fire two nukes to pretty well kill me while I try to launch my skills

Let alone hybrids or other str classes.
IMO SRO has archers nerfed and we can see that by nearly no level 60+ archers in most servers.

Like Darkjackal said, they are at a disadvantage. If they pvp a blader, blader will block most hits if they have good shield and kds of course. If they pvp a glavie, they get stunned, and next few hits they're gone unless they tele away after stun wears off if they're still alive.

I don't think nukes are faster then anti devil >.>, I could always hit things first and then finish it with a combo before nukers could nuke something(I mean actually hitting first, not just atking before they try to nuke).
Archers are great, and are definatly capable of killing bladers/glaiver the same lvl, but when theres nothing you can do to halt their atks, while you get stunned/knocked back or knocked down ever couple hits, its just hard and seems unfair(which it is lol), crit is pretty much the only thing we got, but thats only for one skill, and its not our best one, it's not like a crit really helps when you are gonan get stunned or w/e anyway since they will just pot to full hp while hitting you.

to be honest.. i rarely find any good archers in SRO, well atleast not much in Xian server
the following are the killer archers
DJ
Zapdos
yoxoyo
Zummmm
Kharaa
and almost every other archer suk! . recentely i've seen a lvl 65 archer with sos+5 bow dueling a lvl 65 glavie with +5 glavie
Both in garments both pure str considering how long they both can stay alive and both using fire force.
Archers critical are nice but they are slow/not powerful enough to tear the glavier down. A anticriticaled for about 4k-4.5k while the glavie can do 3.5k-4k with soul spear without critical (2 hits combied) their mars pushes back and doing shit loads of dmg comparing how much time it takes to case that skill (almost instant)
Then again.. if your on Xian.. u'll know how glaviers run from DJ and yoxo ^_^
Building an archer is hard. I don't think just following the textbook ways of adding all str and fire will work. Maybe for all your archers outthere to consult a few of the best archers in your server =D.
BTW. this is a int s/s nuker's opinion.

I would think the Ice/Fire walls would help somewhat. They are the most annoying skills I have seen. When my almost all INT spear guildmate and I pvp, Those things keep him alive forever. They wont give you some impenetrable defense, but its a chance to let your pots catch up, and can cut down a few moves from your enemy.

When it's built right, archers don't suck at pvp, I mean I can kill anyone my level pretty much. I guess just not many people can do it right...
