I want to know whther Cold or lightening or fire is the best imbue for PVP.
Anyone try cold for pvp? Does it slow them down well?

Alot of people say ice, but I would stick with fire.

low lvl = ice, high lvl = fire.

because of immunity. <-- tbh i haven't seen that many people with immunity

I've read a lot that fire has the most damage, lightning is just under, and cold is weak.

Fire has burn, lightning has a splash effect, and cold freezes stuff.

Again this is all just what I've read from the boards, not what I've experienced personally.

Everyone is almost resistance to ice, so fire =]

why not just farm and get all 3 and see for yourself?

If you havent hit 7th degree yet, you probrably wont see many ice-resistant people.

its realy likly that peps at lvl 80 are imuned to ice so no point of goin for it when u can be hiting alot higher.

How many of you that say fire is better than Ice had both imbues at high lvl?

If you didnt than you don't know which is better, and are just repeating what the guy before you said.

You can be immune to both fire and ice stattus effect.


This isnt part of the question but most people take fire because the buffs in the fire tree really help strength based players.

Well, its common sense...
if people are immune to both effects ;
would you choose the one that makes less damage or the one that makes more damage...

This is exactly what I have heard as well, but has anyone here actually tested all the imbues on someone who is immune to all of the elements?

How many of you high level players are immune to ALL of the imbues?

i say cold at low lvl. fire at high lvl.

at higher lvl. good players are immune to cold.
and for those not immune to it, that means they have a shitty gear so u wouldnt need to freeze them to beat them.

when u see someone with 80% cold immunity, expect his/her gear to have great blue such has str 4+, int 4+, parry 30%+, hp 250-400, mp 250-400.

players not immune to cold would have a gear with str 1-2, int 1-2, hp 30...70 ?

its all about how much a player is willing to spend on alchemy for a gear.
