they save your a$$ so to put a poll up on it is silly because everyone who can play knows to use buffs i have as many as possible even if it only reduces say 10 damage they might mean the difference between winning and losing

Agreed. Yesterday was pvping a 64+ and he got me down to 50 hp, but kd saved my life lol.

i dont have that many buffs...grass walk-two fire buffs, and a lvl 1 cold buff lol. i seem to get along fine though.

whats with the poll? waste of mp pots! when i buff up none of my mp pots get used and i have all the buffs i can have except for phy damage increase

i usually only use them for serious pvp or trade runs. the exception is grasswalk, has it on all the time.

how is only 3 dmg any better??!?!!?!

i think it's only good if u use it at much higher lvls

and i only use grasswalk speed to grind

I use 2-3 buffs to grind, can't live w/o grasswalk lol. Other buffs when jobbing/pvp.

get as much buff and max it as much as you can. Of course, say you are lvl 90, you will not be able to max any of your non main force skills at lvl 90 and wont be able to take advantage of the other buffs.

Say..... you are lvl you nuker, you usually max one weapon skill and fire and lightning force. At lvl 90, that only leaves you 30 masteries left and you can put that on ice or whatever you want. And you wont be able to get the highest buffs on ice skills but just max it to what you want or otherwise take it all off and put it on something else.

To sum it all up, just max your skills as much as you can afford it. not too much that you might not be able to get the skill you really wanted to get in the first place due to lack of sp. But if you have a lot of sp, why not take advantage of it?

really you should go something like 70,70,70,90

because then you have 3 force tree's maxed and a main tree with your imbur on it for extra damage

but if you're str based, you need like 90, 90, 120 for rest

3% of 100 is 3. 100=3 = 103

3% of 100 is 3, so he's right, if u are only doing 100dmg then the buff's only gonna add 3dmg.

i think radisson4 is asked whether you should activate your buff when you grind/job/PvP not whether you should get them or not

i just buff up the dmg buff when fighting giant, difference is little when you are low lvl (gotta love to those low newbies whom buff 4/5 buffs up for chakjis, makes me laugh every time i see them)

I was trying to say, that I lived by like <1% of my total hp, due to buffs.

I mainly use grass walk and fire sheild to save on pills...everything else is pretty useless for a pur str until you get to the higher lvls...

depends mostly on what you are doing:
- when grinding: what's the use off a mag. defense increase buff when you are fighting mobs with onlys str attacks? & phy dam inc. when you are out training nuking all the time? nothing -> not using it

- in pvp when you are using every skill: fully buffed up with the max. amounts off buffs my skill tree gives

And what about the future caps? word has it that that 300 mastery limit is not going to be increased, I dont really feel like making my character and maxing 4 trees or maxing them just enough to get max buffs then having to delvl them to raise my main masteries up.

It's not 3% on damage you do/see. It's 3% on your phy attack power. So you're not gonna do 103 damage, more clorser to 120. With 7% phy buff with one 1 hit of sss i do 4000, without it 3200 or so.
