also you dont have to give out your account info there are people out there that are good at putting things toghether... all you have to do is talk to them and they can gather enough info to hi-jack your account... so be carefull what you say and to whom you say it because you never know what someone is gathering from your conversation...

and a dictionary attack is what you said they look through a dictionary for words that would match the secret question... or research for words that would match the secret question

they are considered spyware

take poker players for example... people say poker players never forget hands that are important to them so next time they are playing that person they know how the acted on that last hand and can make decisions from their previous experiences... same thing with these "info hackers"they probe you for information over long periods of time and put toghether the peices that THEY think are usefull to them to guess account id's and passwords... ive actually had these people come up to me and try to "probe" me for information but i knew what they were trying to do because they obviously wernt very good at it...

but the ones who ARE good at this kind of things are usually people who are very close to you in game and have known you for a long time... so i cant stress this enough BE CAREFULL WHAT YOU SAY ONLINE BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS GATHERING FROM YOUR CONVERSATION

i was pretty much soloing. guildless since level 1 till a few days before i got hacked.

k well you dont have to tell me these things im just saying you didnt get hacked because people DO NOT get hacked in silkroad... it is your own fault and that is why joymax will not recover "hacked" accounts because it is not JOYMAX'S fault


so to answer your first question... no there is no way you can get your account back... if i were you id just look for it on e-bay and try to "scam" it back... get the sellers e-mail and enter that on the secret question page and change the e-mail

and people cant PUT keyloggers on your computer you have to download it yourself... or have a friend install one on your computer(that happened to me some idiot of a friend of mine downloaded some trojan from an msn conversation onto MY computer... lets just say HIS computer isnt doing to well after that little incident)

also im sorry, you may not want to accept it, or you may not believe it, but you loosing your account was almost 100% your own fault and no one elses...
