When should i start farming elements?

Restarting in pacific and im wondering when it will be worth it to take apart all the ingredients and items for elements instead of NPC'ing. For some reason the monster-scraps/ingredients seem a lot more pricey to sell by NPC lately...

I'd kill Red-Eye Ghost (Lvl. 41)
They drop wind Lvl. 2 (8 Units) and wind Lvl. 2 (4 Units)
Its a nice hunk of cash when you sell for 2k each
